How late/early can you ovulate?

So just wondering because i had lots of watery discharge 2 days before af and then had the same discharge last night which is 8 days since af. Just wondered how late or ealry you can ovulate? Also it would be impossible to ovulate and conceive 2 days before af, have af and be pregnant right?

My cycle length is 39 days so im no where near ovulation date!

Generally your period will be 2 weeks after ovulation, so early ovulation usually means early period.

If you ovulate late in your cycle, either your period is late or your luteal phase (the gap between ovulation and period) is short. A short luteal phase makes it hard to conceive as there isn’t much chance of the egg implanting before you start to lose lining.

If you have a regular cycle of 39 days, you probably ovulate on or around day 25. Other factors can cause changes to your cervical mucus.
