What does pregnancy nausea feel like???

So I've been experiencing a strange nausea for just over a week now and I'm starting to wonder if this is my first signs of pregnancy. I have on and off headaches accompanied by the kind of nausea you feel when your motion sick, has anyone had this in their 2 ww and found out they were pregnant? Have 4 days until my period is due but really starting to wonder considering how extremely fatigued I've been feeling too (as in sleeping at 10 hours uncontrollably and still shattered!) and occasional cramps - what is wrong with me ahhh👀 Anyone had similar experiences or can tell me what their pregnancy nausea felt like to them??? X

Mine was like when you feel so hungry you are going to vomit. That and heartburn.

danahnahnahnah · 06/04/2019 15:56

Yes I found it very similar to motion sickness. Or that nausea you get when you're hungover.
In fact I also compared the fatigue to a hangover...

cloudymelonade · 06/04/2019 15:58

Same as @LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD I felt like I hadn't eaten in days and that it was making me sick.

NoParticularPattern · 06/04/2019 15:58

Mine was like I was hungover. That horrible constant back of the throat nausea where you’re simultaneously hungry but don’t fancy anything. Even looking at food makes you feel worse yet weirdly if you can get some down you you feel a bit better. Exactly like a hangover in that you feel like a good sleep might help, but different in that it doesn’t!

I felt that hangover nausea. Felt so rough. But I never got it before 6 weeks.

Crisps were the only thing I really fancied more than usual. Nice bit of salty starch!

littlerose13 · 06/04/2019 19:27

Ahh thank you, this has given me some hope! 😬 When did everyone's feeling of nausea begin?? X

I’m not sure because as soon as I for pregnant I caught every bloody big going!

MuchTooTired · 06/04/2019 19:35

Mine was like a hangover that lasted 17 weeks(possibly longer, my mind has blanked it out!). Some days a mild hangover, but mostly the type of hangover where you’re absolutely desperate to throw up so the alcohol goes and you can feel human again. I was never actually sick though.

I can’t remember when it started exactly (think it was pretty much as soon as they were implanted!), but I do remember absolutely crushing exhaustion for the first 14 weeks at least, a brief period of being okish, then not being able to sleep for months because I was too big and in constant pain. It was a twin pregnancy though, and I was bloody huge.

Good luck!

I felt sick before I’d tested with dc1 but then I did go on to have HG so literally vommed or felt like it for 9 months! If you are pregnant I wish you well and just because I felt stick so early doesn’t mean you’ll have HG( didn’t want to worry you).

DramaAlpaca · 06/04/2019 19:37

Mine was like constant motion sickness. With my third pregnancy I had it from a few days before my period was due, and I just knew.

Gettingonabitnow · 06/04/2019 19:40

A permanent hangover!

Drogosnextwife · 06/04/2019 19:42

Like travel sickness, it took me back to horrible journeys in the back of the car as a child but for 9 solid months.

lozengeoflove · 06/04/2019 19:45

Like hell on Earth.
Feels like being very hungry, and wanting to eat but knowing the minute it goes down it will come up again.
Also that strange vertigo like motion sickness you get when very drunk.

I have three DCs. Had it every single bastarding time. It’s one of the worst parts of pregnancy, IMHO.

Lottiebird · 06/04/2019 21:56

Mine was like a hangover as well! It started at 7 weeks.

littlerose13 · 07/04/2019 23:03

Thank you all for the replies! Still feeling super nauseous and AF due in four days but so much temptation to test! 😭 Also - did anyone have increased burping as a symptom like constantly burping?? 😂 x

Mine was like a migraine without the headache. The actual vomiting came on very quickly and the nausea resolved as soon as I was sick, first time was at 6 weeks

Emmalowri · 09/04/2019 23:05

littlerose13 I’ve been wondering the same thing! Had nausea at night time for 5-7 days and tonight I’ve got wicked heartburn and I’ve been sick. The addition of tingly nipples are getting my hopes up! Period isn’t due until the 16th though so I’m really confused!

managedmis · 09/04/2019 23:07

A hangover

Oliversmumsarmy · 09/04/2019 23:09

Sea sickness for 5.5 months
