Clear Blue OPK - 6 days flashing smiley

Hi All

I’ve been taking CB OPKs since last Thursday and have had 6 days of flashing smileys bytcno peak smiley. Can anyone shed any light on why? Should I just stop testing?

Hiya. When I was ttc my first I think I hit a record 11 days of flashing smileys! I never ever got a static one. Do you think you’ve ov yet from other symptoms?

I think so but not 100%. My cycle is 27 days and I’m on cd20. Not sure whether to keep testing just in case.

There’s no harm in continuing to test but you may get to the throwing that flashing smiley bugger out the window stage like I did Grin

😂 I’m getting there already. This process can be so frustrating and I’m not convinced all these things actually help ease our nerves/ worries! Here’s hoping everything works out well!

I think the cycle I got pregnant I didn’t even get that static smiley. I think I went more by bbt but am not letting myself do that this time as I got a bit obsessed!

Fingers crossed for you! I’m slightly resigned to a BFN this month. Not sure why, just don’t think I’m pregnant this month.

Could you have started testing too late? According to the instructions you should have tested first on CD7. If we assume a 14 day LP then you would ovulate around CD13. When you say you started using them last Thursday, do you mean a week ago?

Possibly, but I used IC from cycle day 4 with no positive. Then I had a blank circle last Tuesday and then high fertility ever since. Very confusing.

Also I was temping and doubt my temps were high enough to have missed it before.

Never got a static either. Was so frustrated at days of flashing smileys. Ended up giving up after a couple of months of it driving me mental. Think I must have relaxed then as conceived that month. Think it was stressing me out more than I realised!
