age 30 TTC cycle 8, hoping for a BFP this month and a 2020 New year baby!! :) Anyone else? would love to hear your experience and great tips!

Hi! I'll join you. Also 30, ttc baby #1, cycle 13 I think. Obviously I don't have any tips that work 😂 I'm actually on Clomid at the moment to induce ovulation. Would give anything at the moment for that elusive bfp!

Sorry to add we are TTC baby #1 too! The worse thing is my cycles been all over the place since we started trying, before that i had the most perfect cycle with no changes since i was 13! Anyway were going to try using preseed this month and hubbys started Wellman tablets!

I found very similar re:cycle length! It's like your body knows you're ttc and starts playing tricks on you. Were you on the pill before?

Heard good things about preseed. We use conceive plus. DH takes the well man tablets which he feels makes a huge difference! What vitamins are you taking?

Hi, I'm 29 also TTC #1.

I think I'm on cycle 5 or 6. Although I had 2 periods last month 🙄🙄🙄 so who knows haha.

I'm 25, TTC #1
Came off the mini pill in January and had 3 bleeds since .. positive LH surge for the first time in March, but AF followed 10ish days later. :(

Not officially going to try this month (if it happens then so be it!) as we have a lot of birthdays already in January.

Currently only taking pregnancy supplement (folic acid, etc)

@CityGirl89 hi! 2 periods in one month? That's very unfair! What cd are you on now?

@Robbo93 hopefully positive that you are getting the LH surge! Interesting you say you're not officially trying this month - sods law that's when it will probably happen 😂

@queenqueenqueen hello! How are you finding ttc this time compared to your previous pregnancies?

@Willowjasmine I'm hoping so but unsure whether I ovulated or not 🙄 the LH surge tells me I did but a short LP says something may be wrong (unless my hormones are still all over the place!)

This bleed was heavy CD1 then practically finished with just some spotting on CD3. CD1 and CD2 had clots tho - no idea if this is normal - I didn't bleed at all on the pill! I didn't clot with my first 2 bleeds after stopping either...

Got pregnant 2nd and then 1st cycle of trying ... I then got pregnant in August last year the 3rd cycle since coming of the implant but unfortunately miscarried at 7 weeks 🙁 and then nothing since. ... Feeling really down in the dumps, gap between them is getting bigger every month starting to wonder if I should just give up 🙁 1 day late for my period and 2BFNs
. Maybe there is something wrong with me?

Hi, I'll join! I'm 33, TTC #3. I'm technically on cycle 0 I suppose as still waiting for first proper AF since stopping the pill at the end of last year. Really just want AF to arrive, that would be a good starting point! I was hopeful this month as pretty sure I ov'd but BFN and still no sign of AF Confused

@willowjasmine I'm only taking 400mg of folic acid, i think i'll start pregnacare as well. I've never been on any birth control meds only ever used a condom or nothing purely because i didnt want it to affect my cycle when we did start TTC. But its still not as easy as i thought :(
I think i'm starting my fertile window from tomorrow but because cycle has been all over the place we'll just randomly DTD everyday/every other day and hope for the best!

Willow I know, it's never happened before. Maybe it's the stress of TTC so I'm trying not to think about it too much this month.

I'm on CD 17 now. A long two weeks ahead 😂

@mila1988 I think you made the right choice not going on the pill, I was only on it for a few years but It completely masked my symptoms of pcos getting worse and my cycles getting irregular. Are you using opks?

@CityGirl89 definitely think the stress of ttc ruins everything! I hope your two week wait goes quickly!

@Robbo93 ahh I see. I have heard that a LP of 10 days is still enough for a successful pregnancy, although that's just stuff I've read on these boards. Hopefully it's still early days with your cycle regulating after the pill.

@queenqueenqueen so sorry to hear about your miscarriage Sad and also must be frustrating being on cycle 8 when it didn't take long with your other children. Did af arrive yet? Or did you take another test?

So I'm on cd23, I didn't get a positive opk this month but I did get alot of ewcm so I'm just hoping I missed the surge. Not got high hopes for this cycle now though. Now I'm on Clomid my cycle is usually 32 days, so I guess I just have to wait it out! It's really dragging now! I was feeling quite nauseous yesterday and off my food, but I know even if I was pregnant it would be way too early for symptoms so I'm just being a lunatic.

@willowjasmine no AF yet, and no not tested... Think im going to buy a test tmw morning, my cycles are a bit all over the place and I'm 99% sure I'm not pregnant. Just a feeling... I'm quite worried about what it could be tbh, I'm an internet doctor and scaring myself silly 🙈

Hi can I join I'm on cd 16. Donor imsemination on Saturday and think I ovulated today. I'm a gay single parent with an 8 year old already. I had one try at donor insemination back in August, which seemed to have work had really strong symptoms which then stopped on CD 27 and period showed up late on day 31.

Can I join too? I'm not down with the lingo at all but this is our second month of trying so... cycle 2? And this is our second. I dont know what CD means but I'm 4DPO and period (AF?) is due a week on Tues!

Not sure what I have to add but first baby was a pleasant surprise so this is my first time actively trying so nice to chat it through Smile

2020 has a lovely ring to it, will be super easy for people to work out their age too as they start to get older (I'm weird and think about things like that).

Morning, I'll join this party as the April bus looks so much further ahead than my cycle!

I'm TTC #2, DS is 18 months old.
29 years old
Started trying in Nov 18, miscarriage in Jan 2019 with retained products. Finally got my BFN at beginning of March and I'm currently CD16 with a positive OPK yesterday along with my usual ovulation pains and EWCM.

I'm relieved my cycle seems to have settled back down after MC and also dreading the mental torture of more TWWs!

So according to the OPK i am now fertile! woohoo! after 7 months of irregular periods I'm finally back on track!
@Paddypaws91 totally understand! I love that easy 2020 age thing! haha defo not weird, just part of the cool kids! :)

Currently on CD1 as AF arrived today...
My cycles also went crazy as soon as we started TTC, and they are pretty long, 34-37 days last few months.

Going to try soy isoflavones this month, I just started a separate thread on that! Apparently nature's clomid...

@queenqueenqueen please don't worry. It can be quite normal to ovulate later in your cycle which then gives you a later af or bfp. Or so I have read on these threads. Around the time we started ttc I had a 50 day cycle!
