Fingers crossed for you but try a FRER next . I’ve had so many lines that weren’t really lines.

Mefys33 · 03/04/2019 20:15

Thanks! I think I will have to try a FRER, do you have any recommendations wich ones are best?

The First Response
They’re pricey but probably the best

Hellenbackagen · 03/04/2019 20:18

Go careful I had exactly same line but mine was evap and I was devastated when af started a day or so later....get a FRER to be sure

Trying not to get my hopes up Sad finding it hard as I got pregnant with my other two in the first cycle of trying

If the line has colour in it then its not evap.
Evaporation lines are a bit of a myth anyway, the fabric inside a test remains wet for days.
The only thing that can change the colour of the line is the pregnancy hormone.
If you have a line with colour (no matter how faint) then you are pregnant. If your period arrives soon after then it's a chemical pregnancy (early miscarriage).

Interesting kaytee87, I really hope this is the case

That would indicate a problem for me then because since my tfmr at 44 I've had at least 3 "Evaps" on cheapie tests but none on FRER tests.

I do think cheaper tests can give a false positive. I'm 47 now and it's highly unlikely I'll get a bfp so I don't test anymore.

Comps83 · 04/04/2019 23:40

ICs deffo give false positives . I’ve had so many ‘lines’ within the time frame . 100% not pregnant

Hi ladies thought I’d give you a little update, took another 2 tests and it seems that the lines are getting darker, what do you all think?

Evaporated line or bfp??
