Too early for symptoms?

Hi there!

This is my first ever post so here goes!

I'm currently between 7-10 DPO (judging by my tracking app). For the last 2 days I have been suffering with unbearable back pain. Today I have noticed some very very light brown spotting.

i have also had increased urination (maybe twice every hour and during the night - I NEVER go in the night) I thought at first it was a UTI but have no pain at all.

I wondered if it was too early for symptoms/testing?

Thank you x

I'm still TTC cycle 7 so I can't really say from experience however from all the crazy reading and research I've done, it is possible to get symptoms that early. You should try the CB early detection test! Good luck! x

applejack93 · 03/04/2019 17:11

@dee7409 you should definitely test again! Fingers and toes crossed for you.

@mila1988 thanks I think I will - I have one laying around at home but have been reluctant to use it as I don't want to deal with the disappointment if it's neg! Any idea what the spotting could be if I'm not? It's never happened to me before x

@applejack93 I totally understand, I avoided taking a test a few times before even when I did have weird symptoms and all resulted in a BFN :( I had a week of bright red spotting in Dec then 2 weeks later had a proper period. I went to 2 different Drs and had an ultrasound scan. All said everything was normal, I had a few cysts in my ovaries but they all said this was nothing to worry about and that this can sometimes cause unexplained bleeding/spotting.

@applejack I am going to wait until next week if nothing happen..doc says 3 weeks if nothing happen I should book myself in...my tummy is so distended my DH is already rubbing it before leaving for work! ha ha!

@applejack93 please keep us posted would love to hear how you get on xx

Unbearable back pain isn't really a normal early pregnancy symptom. Well not one I've heard of anyway.
The problem is that very early pregnancy symptoms are similar to PMS so you can't really know until you do a test.
First response tests tend to be the best for early testing.

kaytee87 · 03/04/2019 21:58

Back pain and increased urination could maybe be a kidney infection btw.

applejack93 · 04/04/2019 10:33

@kaytee87 yes thats what I thought.. better go to the doctors either way! Thank you
