Anyone else finding mother’s day hard?

I’ve loved having my mum, nana and mother in law here but I assumed the journey would be easy and I would be pregnant by now.....but no such luck.

I know it happens but TTC can be tough!

Yes, I went for a meal tonight with my mum and DB, SIL and my niece. The waiter asked if everyone here was a mother and there was the awkward moment of everyone and me saying I am not.

I felt so sad. Everyone around me was celebrating being a mum. I had a huge sense of failure and keeping my composure to laugh it off was really difficult.

I hope it happens for us doing OP.

It’s such a hard day. Feel like I am letting my husband down and our families as it’s not happened the way we thought it would.

SO hard!! my best friend announced her pregnancy on Mothers day! even though i'm happy i can't help feeling like I want to cry :'(

It’s so tough. I am so happy for my friends and family who are pregnant but just so sad for myself and my husband. I hope it’s our turn soon!

It is tough. My niece said to me (innocently) “but you don’t have any children,so you aren’t a mother,my mammy deserves that” talking about a top when we were shopping...that I was buying myself for work...she wanted me to give it to her mum

Oh the innocence of children but it must have been upsetting. Here’s to hoping it is our month ladies. Xxx

I felt like Mother’s Day was really shoved in my face this year
Couldn’t move for it . It didn’t bother that I’m not a mother but I went NC with my own mother about 8 months ago so it’s hard seeing all here great mother daughter relationships when mine couldn’t give a shit about me
