Sorry for long post

So on Friday I started with some pains where my right ovary is. It was on and off so I went to bed. I woke up Saturday and it was still there it was more noticeable and hurt a little I got on with my day. I went to work and at around 7 the pain got worse still in the same place but it hurt when I moved or sat or anything so I went to our local walk in who sent me up to our local hospital ( just incase it was my appendix) I was kept in Saturday, Sunday and let home late Monday night but when I woke up from a sleep late on Sunday night it wasn't there as bad. Whilst in hospital I had scan to see where pain was coming from but it all come back clear.

I was due my period yesterday and I'm never late: it's got me thinking could it have been implantation pain???

I had severe implantation pain with my pregnancies, I honestly thought I was really sick, it was excruciating! Its worth getting a pregnancy test to see.
I had frequent scans in the first trimester & things settled down & I went on to have healthy babies.
I hope you get to the bottom of what is causing your pain.

I had implantation pain but it was literally for a few hours ... I had already found out I was pregnant ( 1 week before period was due but I had severe sickness from early on ) for me it was short but awful ( labour less painful ... up until pushing out the baby anyhow ) cold sweat with pain thought I was miscarrying ... I had no blood either .... try the pregnancy test they can pick it up pretty quick x x

I didn’t have this with DD1 but bad DREADFUL implantation pain with DD2. I remember it distinctly, I was at work and it knocked me off my feet, I had to sit down and regroup. That was on the last day before we finished for Christmas, which was December 18th and I got my first positive test on December 22nd.

Why did the hospital not do a pregnancy test??

SugarfreeMe · 27/03/2019 10:29

The severe pain lasted 3 or 4 days, then cramping for about a week.

sazzle3 · 27/03/2019 10:55

@SugarfreeMe really that gives me hope. I've had the pain 3 days today it's not so bad I little bit of cramping earlier but nothing else. Still no period in sight. It's got me thinking maybe I could be. We have been trying for #4 for 2 n half years xxx

So my friend seems to think that implantation pain isn't a thing and that's it's all a load of poop. Angry xx

Still no period I'm now a few days late and I'm never late Smile I'm always early if anything. Think I may buy a test today I just don't feel pregnant. Don't want to get my hopes up xx

@sazzle3 i also read that the pain/cramps is caused by an increase of progesterone in the luteal phase which bummed me out as i was experiencing the same symptoms. Apparently there is no such evidence that you can feel implantation, the pain/cramps you feel is from high levels of hormones :(

@sazzle3 , how are things?

sazzle3 · 11/04/2019 21:56

Af showed up 😓. Now in my fertile week again it's never ending. This month we haven't dtd much as I've been really poorly with gastroenteritis. Fertile week started on Tuesday and only managed to dtd once so far in that time and that was last night. 1st time ever I've put a pillow under my bum after to try and help things haha. Been ttc for 2 n half years ya driving me crazy xx
