Positive Ovulation test 9 days after ERPC

Hi ladies. I am 9 days after my ERPC last week and I got a positive ovulation test this morning. Am I really ovulating or could PG hormones still in my system throw a false positive? Anyone had this?

Aude, I remember reading that ovulation tests can be used as pg tests but not vice versa, or something like that. So it's possible that the OPKs are picking up HCG. I read it on www.peeonastick.com. Have you done an HPT?

How far along were you? After my first ERPC (at 11 wks) I was still getting +ve hpts some weeks after. Same with the second one though it was earlier at 8 weeks.

Thanks Deux and Alinjosh. I had done an HPT last Monday and it was still positive (that was only 7 days after ERPC). But I did another one this morning and it was finally negative. Seems mad to ask for a BFN but at least now I know that if and when I get a BFP again, it will be a new pregnancy and not hormones from last pregnancy still in my body.
I also did another OPK last night and didn't get the smiley face this time so I am hoping I really was ovulating last Wednesday. Fingers crossed.
Alinjosh, how soon after your ERPC did you get your first AF?
