When temping...once the temp spikes is it too late to dtd?

I am just starting to temp and I am curious on when is the best time to dtd. So for example if you have the temp spike on day 15, which means you ovulated.....would the best days to dtd be 11, 13 and 15? Or is 15 too late so its better to dtd 12 and 14?

The egg is viable for up to 24 hours so in my opinion it's still worth dtd! But I do like dtd..... 😂

A temp spike would normally mean ovulation was the day before so day 14 in this case. You want the sperm to be waiting for the egg when you ovulate really so you need to shag before you ovulate but as you don't know if you are actually going to ovulate until you've seen 3 high temperatures so it's best to continue.

In an ideal situation the best days to shag are 0-2 & 0-1 so day 12 and day 13 in your case. The next best days are 0-3 and 0 (day 11 & 14 in your case. If you've got any of those days then it's good.

You personally is still get one more shag in today in case ovulation isn't confirmed.

Ah no, my temps have not risen yet lol. I am just asking so I know for when it does, I am only on day 2 of temping (only started 5 days into my cycle) so just learning about it now. Do not know why I did not try it before! So interesting.
