@smitch82 I think that's what's happening here!

Dec was 27 days, Jan 24, Feb 23, now Mar is currently 25 🤷🏼‍♀️

My brain says to try again one day after your longest cycle length so il try Friday now :)

I usually have a 12 day LP for the last two cycles so atm I'm 14 which is odd!

smitch82 · 02/04/2019 10:39

@Jessikka yeah good idea. If mine is messed up again I will be waiting a long time 😂 who has 48 day cycles 🤷‍♀️

Fingers crossed for you getting an answer either way!

I could really do with my cramps stopping it is really annoying 😔

AysLon · 02/04/2019 13:38

@smitch82 i hear you re the joys of coming off the pill. Had I known it would take this long to sort my body out afterwards, I might have thought twice about being on it for so many years. I know it was helpfulbat the time but I definitely think being off it is better for me, there's nothing like the assurance of your body working naturally.

cupcakesandglitter · 02/04/2019 14:08

Hi ladies 😊 so I haven't had any more spotting? There's like a very slight smidge of tinged cm when I wipe, but nothing more. i remember @Crossfitgirl You had spotting, do you remember How long you had it for? I don't know what's going on 😩 xx

smitch82 · 02/04/2019 14:16

@AysLon I know. I was on it for years on and off! Swapped to injection and implant for a while.

I am hoping that I will get back to normal in the next few cycles!

Crossfitgirl · 02/04/2019 15:57

@cupcakesandglitter yes I did. My usual spotting before AF would be 2-3 days, and I did still get this. So had usual spotting for 3 days, then on the 4th day I had a tiny bit of watery red blood on wiping (thought it was AF) and then later that evening I had sort of pink CM and it was a bit weird and jelly like and that's when I got my BFP. I didn't get any more spotting after that at all xx

@flapjackered haha definitely using it as my excuse. I hope I don't get into trouble over the work thing, I later saw the rude lady has already put a complaint in about something else, so I'm worried when I go back in (got a few days off) she might have put another one in about me! If she does I'll just be like. SHE WAS RUDE and I couldn't cope cos I'm preggers 😁😁😁

Jessikka · 02/04/2019 16:03

@Crossfitgirl @cupcakesandglitter That is the exact same situation I'm currently sat in!

Nothing but the tiniest bit of spotting for a few days but nothing comes of it.

I'm also positive she's on the way as temp dropped so it's inevitable! I did an internal check and saw some red blood so I know she's up there she's just not coming down 😫

To top it all off I have just developed a cold and sore throat and now I can't taste my spag bol. I think that is harder to take than the missing AF.

AysLon · 02/04/2019 16:34

@jessikka Could your temp dropping be an anomaly? If you've been spotting for days that's so annoying, you would want to know one way or the other!! Hope u feel better soon.

AysLon · 02/04/2019 17:00

Does anyone get headaches around ovulation? I am CD17 and day 3 of flashing smiley face, waiting for the static but haven't done a OPK since 7am this morning. Going to do another this evening, wondering if this headache is the LH surge...then again it could be my lack of coffee today!

cupcakesandglitter · 02/04/2019 18:07

@Crossfitgirl I'd use that as an excuse, they can't say anything 😂😂 so happy it's all going well for you ❤️ Thankyou, my spotting hasn't progressed at all! I've worn a pad for two days now and there's no even a drop on it! Xx

@Jessikka I've just checked and there's basically nothing up there 😩 sorry to hear you've had red though. I literally don't know what's going on 😂 xx

KatBeCool · 02/04/2019 18:47

@AysLon I get severely dehydrated around ovulation which causes headaches for me. There are so many symptoms and everyone experiences something different sounds like.

AysLon · 02/04/2019 18:51

@KatBeCool definitely. I've just done another OPK and it's still flashing smiley so the headache is probably not O linked. On to tomorrow CD18

thosethreewords · 02/04/2019 19:26

@Crossfitgirl that's so lovely that your DH has started to feel her moving!!
Also I feel you on rude patients - some days it's just too much for the hormones to handle!

@smitch82 yeah the symptom spotting is crazy and so frustrating when the symptoms are so similar to PM symptoms!

@Jessikka so weird. FX for you!

@AysLon I didn't realise how long it takes to readjust after contraception either. Luckily for me it seems to be pretty much straight away but I know I'm in the minority there.

I had pink jelly CM after sex last night and I feel so bloated and sick today. The joys of ovulation! (Or eating cupcakes? Probably/ definitely that!)

AysLon · 02/04/2019 20:02

@thosethreewords what day of your cycle are you on?

thosethreewords · 02/04/2019 21:43

@AysLon CD15 x

rose555 · 02/04/2019 22:35

Hi everyone, I am just checking in after a few busy days. Congratulations to those who have had BFPs in the last week or so! I am in the 2WW and trying to keep my mind off it. I have done a couple of intense gym classes and am aching everywhere, including my lower abs. It’s taking a lot of willpower not to imagine the aching is implantation is taking place!!! 😂 Does anyone else do that?! I am on CD23 with AF due on Tuesday so still lots of waiting to endure!!

SunStruck · 03/04/2019 00:56

@rose555 exactly the same here lol! I worry about my exercise sometimes, I go 5 days a week (4 days weights split lower and upper) and some cardio (not intense) on the 5th. It makes me feel good and takes stress out which I need, but is this too much if trying to conceive? And can I hurt the embryo or implementation?? Mixed reviews everywhere....

thosethreewords · 03/04/2019 07:26

@SunStruck I don't think there's much evidence to say it's harmful. It's only once you get pregnant that you should moderate the intensity to which you work at (as in, don't persevere until you feel like you are about to pass out). I'm 1DPO now and distracting myself with exercise is what I plan on doing!

SunStruck · 03/04/2019 07:43

@thosethreewords fingers crossed for you!!! I am 8 DPO and took an early test today and got a faint line!! Then had PT session in the morning 🤦🏻‍♀️

I would have to tell the PT early as I need to moderate the exercises as I'm so worried about losing it so early on...

rose555 · 03/04/2019 07:44

@sunstruck @thosethhreewords glad I’m not the only one! From what I’ve read, advice seems to say only to do the level of exercise you normally would, ie, don’t shock your body while TTC. So if you normally DO 5 classes a week then that’s what you should continue doing. I’m not normally quite so active but thinking that I may as well try to get my body summer-ready in case TTC isn’t successful any time soon. Although obviously secretly hoping I’ll be pregnant and my body will be taken over by a big bump in the summer anyway!!

smitch82 · 03/04/2019 08:08

Yeah I was told keep doing what I do and don't worry. Stress is worse than exercise although I didn't think TTC would be this stressful!

My poor DH told me I was just trying to pick a fight with him yesterday. I actually didn't realise I was until he pointed out everything I just said (he is annoyingly right all the time!).

AF due Friday/Saturday think he just wants me to have it so I can stop having such moody swings!!

I have played netball the last two nights and going to run/weights at lunch today to distract me.

Jessikka · 03/04/2019 08:09

Finally out of Limbo! GIANT glass of wine tonight at a family meal!

Cycle 4 cd1 let's have you 🤜

Have a good day all 😊

thosethreewords · 03/04/2019 08:23

@rose555 yes that's the boat I'm in too. I was really in shape until last year but then prolapsed a disc playing sport and I've had six months of still not being right. I kept being told to exercise because it's good for your back (this is what I tell people all the time!) but I just kept hitting a brick wall. Anyway, I think I'm there now and can start building back up. I doubt I will ever do heavy weight lifting again but oh well!
If I'm not pregnant this cycle, I've got 6 weeks to build myself back up before my next AF so I'm going to focus on that!

@SunStruck Amazing!!! This is such brilliant news!!

@smitch82 good distraction technique! I empathise with the progesterone rage. I wish I could explain it to DH, but I can't

@Jessikka yes! I bet you are pleased to be out of limbo!! X

AysLon · 03/04/2019 08:33

@SunStruck omg the excitement! Fingers crossed it goes dark.

@rose555 I too am wondering about exercise. I am due to ovulate on the app today but still seeing flashing smileys, it's not going to stop me going to Zumba in my lunch hour though, might even move things along? It's annoying we can't look inside to see what is going on lol.

Lottiepink · 03/04/2019 08:33

@SunStruck wow amazing! Do you have a Pic?

@Jessikka aww sorry ☹️ enjoy your wine tho 😆😆

I also wondered about having a Pt and when you would have to say, as when doing weights etc it can be dangerous can't it!
