Agnus castus / vitex

My husband and I have been TTC for 15 months. Each cycle, until last, I got a positive OPK on day 21/22. I have had quite a bit of spotting each cycle in the run up to my period, which seemed to start earlier and earlier towards the end of last year. I started taking agnus castus at the beginning of last cycle, and got a positive ovulation test on day 18, with ov confirmed by temping as day 19. My spotting was less and my luteal phase 12 days. Today is day 17, and I’ve had a positive opk. I’m really hopeful that this is going to sort my cycle out a bit!

We’re awaiting our first fertility appointment and an ultrasound recently showed me to have polycystic ovaries, though I believe I’m ovulating regularly (ultrasound confirmed I had just ovulated).

Does anyone have any positive similar stories?

Agnus castus is great, after both dc my cycle went a bit haywire for a few months, up to 37 days to my usual 28. I took agnus both times and within the next two months my cycles were regular again, 27-28 days. I also take it for pmt, works really well.

Hi!! Not really in a similar position but thought I’d share - I came off the pill in the middle of December and had no signs of anything happening. I read about Vitex so started taking this in February and lo and behold a week and a half later, I had a positive OPK 👍! I’ve now just finished my first period after coming off the pill, I don’t know if it was a coincidence or not but i’m going to carry on taking it just in case!!
