Trying again after chemical

Hi all
I had a chemical pregnancy when I was nearly 5 weeks at the end of January.
We decided not to wait for next period and try again straight away - nurses said all I had to do was wait for a negative hpt which I had a week ago.
Just wondered how long it too others to get pregnant again following a miscarriage?

We had an early MC last April. It took ages to get a negative test after that as my hcg levels dropped really slowly. Finally got a negative in June, then my BFP end of August. I’m now 30+4. Sorry to hear about your loss. Fingers crossed for your BFP soon Flowers
