TTC and SMEP

Hi guys,

Have been lurking a little while but think it's time to officially join the bandwagon!

Me and DH have been TTC for three months now, though only managed to DTD twice in fertile window in month 1. This month we tried a lot harder - DTD 6 times in my fertile window but just tested with two first response tests (yesterday and today) and both BFN. In fact, all I got from our efforts this month was a really horrible bout of cystitis!!! I'm on CD24 today.

I've been using the clear blue ovulation tests with the flashing/static smileys, and only realized this morning that static smiley means you will ovulate in next 24-36 hours...I previously thought this meant you HAD ovulated so think I may not have been prioritizing DTD AFTER the static smiley.

Thinking about trying SMEP next month, and just wanted to see if anyone else was trying this/had had any luck with it in the past?

Hi I'm on cycle 4 following a mmc in Oct.

First couple of cycles absolutely nothing so started SMEP.

Yesterday was cd8 and day 1 of SMEP.
Also managed to dtd on Saturday too.

I'm reading online how it works but fingers crossed for us both ❤️

Hi @Michellebops, so sorry to here about your MMC - that's awful.

Fingers crossed for SMEP bringing some good news for us both. Will be interested to hear how you get on. I'm expecting AF this weekend, so a little while before we get going yet.

Good luck xx

Thank you.

Will do, though my partner says he'll be pleading exhaustion by tomorrow night. I said he should count himself lucky 😂
