Help! ?BFP

Wondering if anyone can help put my mind at rest! So my history-
Previous 10years on the Depo- last injection June 2017, period back August 2018 but irregular (mainly 25D cycles but some 12Ds), Cycle 11 of unprotected sex, blood tests at the doctors twice- 1st set- no ovulation, 2nd set- ?premenopausal. Been referred to Hospital for help as bloods are difficult to understand. First appointment 26th March!

Today I'm D28 and I've taken a pregnancy test- ?faint line seen!! However I feel heavy in my stomach and cramps/ pains as I usually do when AF is on her way!

I'm trying so hard to not get ahead of myself but I think this might be it- if it wasn't for the faint line I'd be convinced AF coming!

I also am scared now if it's a chemical pregnancy as we've finally been referred and will lose our appointment if I do have a BFP! Minds all over the shop!

Probably not much help but didn't want to read a run but that isn't that faint at all I would say that is a BFP but could you get hold of a FRER and test with that to be sure fingers crossed

freedles · 16/03/2019 10:06

Don’t panic yet...That’s a pretty strong positive for that kind of test imo. Why don’t you get a clear blue digital or frer 😊

careynurse · 16/03/2019 10:07

@waitingforbaby2 I'm just so worried I'm going to get ahead of myself and it's not true! Im already talking like I am and thinking of how to organise my annual leave etc!

Things with me are never straight forward- as my 2 previous fertility bloods show! I've got a clear blue test in the cupboard so I'm going to have a go with that- do I have to wait until the morning for it to be more accurate??

Thanks Smile

Thats what my ic looks like at the top today I'm 15 days past ovulation and the clear blue worked for me. Do you know when your period is due?

peasando · 16/03/2019 10:15

@careynurse that looks positive to me. I'd defo pop out and get a FRER or a CB - let us know what it says! Fingers crossed for you x

careynurse · 16/03/2019 10:16

Does anyone know if it should work if I do another test this afternoon? Not sure I can wait until the morning Confused

OP posts:
bitheby · 16/03/2019 10:18

Depends how far along you are if you are. The FRER is more sensitive than the test you've used so should pick it up.

careynurse · 16/03/2019 10:18

Oh and due to irregular cycles not sure about AF but usual is 25D cycle unless I have a short one....I'm currently 28D....

And now I'm debating whether my last period was a period as it was a light bleed for 2 days far too early in my cycle but I reset my cycle from that! Blush

peasando · 16/03/2019 10:22

I think you should do a FRER straight away! It should show up 😃

Aph413 · 16/03/2019 10:22

If you think you are passed your period date the clear blue box does say it can be used any time of day. Fmu would give the strongest result but any test should be positive once you are late

MoeAnna · 16/03/2019 10:53

Good luck x

careynurse · 16/03/2019 12:47

@Aph413 that's amazing!! Congrats❤️

Thanks for the support! I'm a real worrier 😬🤞🏻

Chickenvindasaag · 16/03/2019 12:51

That's a definite positive on the first pic

keepforgettingmyusername · 16/03/2019 13:36

FMU is a myth, you can test anytime and if you're pregnant it'll be positive.

Aph413 · 16/03/2019 13:41

Thank you @careynurse let us know how it goes.

peasando · 16/03/2019 13:42

Really?

Aph413 · 16/03/2019 13:44

@peasando that's meant to be true if you are past your expected period

peasando · 16/03/2019 13:54

Ah ok

careynurse · 16/03/2019 14:19
