Does any one else ovulate on day 8?

Does anyone else ovulate on day 8? I've used clear blue double ovulation sticks the last two cycles which have shown ovulation on day 8 (usually day 11). Just wondering whether this indicates an issue? Currently TTC#2 and on cycle 5...

The only day we managed to DTD last month was CD8 and we got our BFP. I'm 7 weeks today :) good luck !

How long are your cycles?

Ovulation tests detect the surge which results in ovulation, not ovulation itself. Most women ovulate a day or two after their positive opk, which is why they advise you continue to have sex for 2-3 days after your positive.

I got the surge on day 9 so ovulation day 10/11. 28 day cycle. No problem with fertility

Cycles where you actually ovulate on CD >10 are considered infertile cycles. But as PPs have said, a high day is not ovulation and an actual peak day means ovulation will happen in the next 48 hours. Good luck!

I was doing NFP and thought I’d be safe on day 8. I have a happy, healthy teenager to show for it.

My cycles are normally 28 days, with OV on CD11. Then two months ago I ended up in A&E on CD20 with crippling pain on one side of my lower stomach which had built up over five days. I thought they were implantation pains. That month OV was on CD8. Doctors weren't sure what it was...scan showed I had ovulated that month but I had constant negative pregnancy tests.
Anyway I then got a period on CD24 which was almost as painful as labour pains with my first child and very heavy bleeding.
Last month my cycle was 24 days again and OV on CD8. I had symptoms this month but took a FRER yesterday morning and it was a BFN. I was really upset but will keep myself busy and move on to next cycle and see what happens.

It took 10 months to conceive with my son, so will keep try to keep relaxed and not panic there's an issue!
