Pregnant? 3 Negative Tests but 10 Days LATE Period

We are TTC. My husband has balanced chromosomal translocation so I get very anxious to know if I'm pregnant right away due to needing an early scan and CVS testing done as soon as possible.

My period's never more than a day or two late but more often a touch early, now it's 10 days late. 2 ClearBlue early detection tests taken on 4th and 7th late day and First Response early detection test taken today are all negative.

If I'm pregnant I'd be 5 weeks.

I had blood drawn yesterday to check for pregnancy but won't get results til next week.

Could 3 tests really be wrong? Am I just having wishful thinking that I'm pregnant?

I read that the blood test is better than urine tests but I'm just feeling really negative about it all right now. Sad

I had 2 negative FRER tests a week apart, before getting a positive test this week 10 days after my period was due.

I reckon I just ovulated late because of stress.
