Hello all, so I am nervous I have a HYSTEROSCOPY scheduled for Thursday, Im not so much nervous about the procedure but rather wondering is it really worth it as a part of fertility. My fertility speicalist suggested this as a possible to remedy whatever the reason is we have no conceived.

Quick backstory: my partner has one child I have been pregnant years ago so people have suggested maybe I don't go to the extent of fertility specialist.

Often clears the way, is all I've heard!

I had one and a polyp was discovered. Then had to have another to have it removed. It checks your tubes aren't blocked and everything looks ok.

I have heard that it can flush things through and make you more fertile next cycle.

I had one to remove a polyp.

25 days later I conceived DS1 after trying for 18 months

I conceived my dd the month I had it done! Not saying that means anything as had conceived before but had brown spotting through 11 weeks then found out had a mmc. As pp said, it clears the way as I've always had spotting before period so feel like it cleared all the old stuff away and made it easier for swimmers to get through (note, totally unscientific opinion!) Good luck!
