I’m hoping to start TTC at the end of this year. I have a medical condition which means I can’t be on my meds while pregnant and leaves me in a tremendous amount of pain. DS took 18 months to conceive and it’s was truly awful. As well as just being hard waiting, I was in so much pain all the time that we nearly gave up. I guess I’m just looking for some hope that this time might not be as bad! Last time I went in to it totally ignorant about time scales and how much pain I would be in. It’s hard planning to do it again knowing how bad it can be. Is it likely to take ages again or is it common to conceive much quicker for number 2?
