Implantation confussion

Hello everyone,
Apologies in advance if TMI. It seems to be a long struggle with at first unexplained inability to naturally concieve, so several rounds of failed IVF and now very oddly several natural miscarriages. My gynecologist said to try naturally again and if we get a positive test, go in for added early medical support with hormones and so on.
Exactly a week early than period due, this week 5th i embarrassingly thought i had wet myself, but I turned out to have leaked darkish yet watery blood. On and off for 3 days very light bleeding of pink to brown but not bright red blood, in which time i passed 1 small noticeable clot. No period symptoms, no pain at all, definitely no heavy bleeding with numerous clots which would be normal. 3rd day the light bleeding stopped completely, didn't trail off like a period, just stopped and yesterday, i had a leak of creamy to clear mucus.

Any thoughts on if it could sound like implantation? I definitely 100% don't feel like i have had a period. I normly suffer very bad.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like my implantation bleeds.
I though they where super light periods a few days early.

Good luck!

Sessy19 · 10/03/2019 06:51

I would see a medical professional. Watery, a clot, feeling like you’d wet yourself....none of that sounds very normal 😳

I do hope it’s implantation. But please see your doctor x

Coffeebrew · 10/03/2019 08:58

@HouseOfToys thanks for the reply, i have now for a couple of days also had leakage of creamy to clear muccus, did you get this after implementation? Also when i have been pregnant before, although they ended in miscarriage my hormones go crazy and i get mild nose bleeds which i have been getting, so so unsure again if the hormone change is due to pregnancy or period will still present itsself. I guess i just have to wait it out and If no period starts tuesday then test later in the week or the next week, therefore @Sessy19 if my period doesn't come i will go to my GP if several negative results and early pregnancy unit if positive result. Maybe watery was the wrong word to use, but it was a wet bloody stain, very light, but darker in colour than period.
Thanks both.

That sounds like me. With the discharge and the nose bleeds. It's weird isn't it!

Coffeebrew · 11/03/2019 11:23

@HouseOfToys yes it is odd, also slightly annoying that some think every women's experience is a god given same, when in actual fact it's not, which is why it is proving hard to know what i am actually experiencing.
How soon after your suspected implementation did you do a test?
I am due on tomorrow and would normally for me have experienced 2 days of very slight only just visible spotting when going to the loo, but so far nothing and no period symptoms at all.

OP posts:
HouseOfToys · 11/03/2019 11:29

The first time I assumed it was a period as my periods where all over the place. I don't test until the month after when my period didn't come.
idiot

The second time I was due AF on the Friday and had the bit of bleeding Monday and Tuesday and when it stopped I thought it might be.
Didn't test until the Friday though.

Nose bleeds for me where only in one pregnancy. Always different!

I hope you get the positive Flowers

Sessy19 · 13/03/2019 05:33

I was responding to your symptoms, not suggesting that you weren’t confirming! Apologies if you found my response ‘annoying’ 😳

Coffeebrew · 13/03/2019 07:53

@sessy19 not at all, all responses much appreciated, sorry if you thought i was annoyed, i am very confused right now as it's the age old situation lf waiting to test to get the most accurate result.
My period should have started yesterday but nothing, no bleeding, no period symptoms and now since the very light 3 day intermittent bleed i had a day of finding i was leaking thicker mucus and now, very clear mucus for several days, but as there was 1 clot, but only one when i had the scant bleed, i don't know if it was a mega light early period or indeed implantation.
I have had several miscarriages and they were very heavy and extremely painful bleeds and lets just say there was no mistake i had lost it. I don't ever seem to conform to a 'norm' so very confused.

I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

Coffeebrew · 13/03/2019 14:22

@HouseOfToys thank you. It's all very odd. Is tomorrow too early to do a test, just 3 days past missed period 🤔 it's like since the scant bleeding stopped i feel more well than ever, as if my hormomes have suddenly changed but made me feel more balanced, normally my hormones would be all over the place if i was having or going to have a period, but feeling no symptoms of anything makes me wonder if i just had an abnormally light early period. Grrrrrrrr lol

OP posts:
HouseOfToys · 13/03/2019 14:26

I would test. I couldn't bear not too.
I always test on the day my period is due. But I'm super impatient!

Coffeebrew · 16/03/2019 13:45

@HouseOfToys thanks, tested twice now and both negative, yet still not had my normall period. I guess either after 5 days past missed period it's still too early for me to get a positive show, or for the first time ever i had a very unusally early and light period. I think i will try and ride it out and see if anything starts next month before testing again and if still negative will go to my GP.

I am more confused now than ever. I tested again, for a 3rd time, it's been 4 days since the last time i tested, a week since the first test as i am now 9 days late for what would be my normal period. I don't bother with expensive tests anymore, just the strips. I nearly threw the strip away thinking it was negative, but for some reason i looked again. I don't know if i am seeing something so faint most would write it off, but if you slightly zoom in on the picture (you have to to see what i mean it is so faint) , you can obviously see the pink line on the right, the edge of the shiny strip on the left and inbetween the T & the O of the background (the only thing that didn't give me a shiny glare lol) there is what possibly looks like a very faint line, that most would probably miss it. What does anyone else think? Thanks in advance

The bit that's confusing me further, is that i today saw a couple of thread vain like streaks when wiping after using the loo, could this possibly be a sign of ovulation if i was to have had an abnormally light out of sync period on the 5th of this month? Any thoughts anyone?

OP posts:
kell2116 · 22/03/2019 16:45

@coffeebrew I can see the test line. Can you get hold of a FRER?

Coffeebrew · 22/03/2019 17:12

@kell2116 yes i could do, but am now wondering if i had an odd period and today i am ovulating, as i said above slight streaks of blood, only saw them once today and now increased mycus, but just now had a nose bleed, so the confusion continues 🤔

Coffeebrew · 23/03/2019 08:33

So after yestersays nose bleed and 3 blood spots I decided to use the last of my £ test strips. Again i have a very faint line, but ever so slightly more prominent that i saw withing 4 minutes and wasn't straining for ages wondering if it's there. But... I still don't think it is anywhere near conclusive, what does anyone think?

I tested again this morning with a supermarket own brand rather than the strips, it was a clear negative.

However, I have started spotting, ranging from light pink to what looks like darker old blood. I guess i am now wondering if i am just not pregnant or, if there is still a slight chance my hormones are still too low to detect at 14 days past the date my period was due and it might eventually show as positive, or it could be an early loss so my body having random bleeding 🤔 any further thoughts please?

OP posts:
HJWT · 25/03/2019 07:21

@Coffeebrew I think the strip tests look faulty

Coffeebrew · 25/03/2019 07:27

@HJWT thanks. I am inclined to think so, except yestersay someone told me they had the same with the strips and it meant a positive for them. However with me now spotting and a negative supermarket own branded test, I don't hold out much hope.

OP posts:
Coffeebrew · 25/03/2019 09:58

I thought i would keep the test i did this morning rather than throw it straight away, just so i could see if it evapirated and what it would look like, to give me some indication as to the strip tests actually being faulty.
I don't know if i missed it straight after doing the test and i admit this is a very weird, but i clearly could see the horizontal line had faded and slightly evaporated, but there was a vertical line underneath the horizontal one, like half a cross, its thin but if you hold it up to the light it is definitely blue like the other window. Half a thin blue line... What the heck. You can just about see it, but i couldn't hold it to the light to show colour without shaky hands lol.

Any thoughts please 🤔🤔🤔🤔 i feel like i have gremlins in my tests either that or my hormones 😆 3 tests one of which was a different brand all come back dodgy. Grrrrrr

@Coffeebrew FRER are the best tests and don't look after the time stated because that will just do your head in! X

Coffeebrew · 25/03/2019 10:23

You are quite right with the do your head in @namechange191 i don't know if it was so faint i missed it at first look or if it just leaked so to speak over a little time. All so frustrating, but thanks for your reply.

Just thought i would follow up and say thanks everyone for all your comments, it obviously wasn't meant to be for us last month, probably a very early chemical pregnancy, one i probably wouldn't have thought twice about if it wasn't for us actively trying. Onwards and upwards, we will try again
