Smear test when a couple of dpo

Hey, I ovulated a couple of days ago and dtd. I have a smear booked in tomorrow- can I go/will it affect any potential current pregnancy? Or should I cancel?

I had a smear test last cycle. I was told that a smear test can, on some occasions, cause a miscarriage. When I explained we were TTC, the nurse considered my cycle and advise if I was pregnant, it was very early days and then went on with the test. I was a little worried at the time and I will never know if I was going to get my BFP that cycle, however, I was so relieved when I received my clear smear test results this week. Although it’s hard to be TTC and something potentially preventing a successful cycle, smear tests are so important and I know that this cycle, I can try without worry.

Obviously it is down to personal choice but thought I would share my experience :-)
