After a stressful cycle last month - four days late for AF and a late ovulation this cycle, I’m currently 8dpo. I know. Far too early to test. But as the title says, I’m a maniac 🤣. So after an emotional day of friend announcing her pregnancy (I’m happy for her) and becoming very emotional I decided to POAS. I know it’s far too early but I think I see a very faint line. I’m not sure if I’m just wanting to see it so wanted your opinions.

P.S. I know the test becomes invalid taking it apart but the window on the test was so tiny (it’s a cheap one) and I couldn’t see so I literally took this photo the second I removed the test from the case.

Can’t tell I’m afraid. And you did take it apart.... 1 a day until you get a clear positive or AF shows up?

My emotions got the better of me today! I’d never test this early. Yeah I took it apart to take the photo but it was apart for like a second then I took the photo!
I’ll wait until after the weekend, it’s only because I had that handy lying around the house. By then it should be darker (if there is a line there)

I can actually see the line! I don't want to get your hopes up but I can definitely see something. Good luck x

Well as you have said you are way too early to test and u have dismantled it and although I feel I can see a slight line I wouldn't be getting my hopes up yet..

@ems137 ahhh I honestly should have waited! I don’t even know why I did I would never test 8dpo, I’d wait until at least 10 - not that that’s much better 🤣. Thank you I really hope it is, this is our 8th cycle ttc #1 and I know that’s not long compared to some others it just feels like it’s been forever. Thanks for your message. X

@Bigonesmallone3 I’m definitely not getting my hopes up, I’ve been crushed too many times before! Just swore I could see a line this time! Thanks for your message and yes fingers crossed. I’m going to hang off until Sunday and test then. Unless I all of a sudden get symptoms or something 🤷‍♀️.

Congratulations! I love seeing other maniacs as it makes me feel more normal (I tested 3 times after AF a sofa I was convinced it wasn’t a true period and I must be pregnant 🙈).

Oh I know! I thought it would never happen I can’t believe it. I’m so shocked. I’ve not even checked it must be like November some time? I literally just took that test tonight and my head has been all over the place since! My last period was 7th of Feb so I’ll go and put it in a calculator now. What about you?

@Marshmallow1992 are you literally feeling shell shocked? I was gobsmacked. I've had really sore boobs since Thursday which is really unusual for me but nothing else yet. What symptoms have you had if any?

@Marshmallow1992 I'm due 19th November but that might change since I ovulated so late in my cycle. Last af began on 5th Feb but I didn't ovulate till cd22.

I didn’t ovulate until CD22 either and AF started on 7th of Feb for me! I woke up this morning with really sore boobs but it’s went away now. I’ve no other symptoms whatsoever! What test did you take? I think I’m going to get a digital to take on Wednesday as that’s when AF is due so I’m hoping it would be positive then xxx

@chanel05 yes I’m so so shocked! DH doesn’t quite believe it either 🤣 that’s why I’m desperate to do a digital so it’s black and white for him 🤣

@Marshmallow1992 I'm sure they'll kick in soon!! I read that the nausea usually hits from bang on 6 weeks. I took a frer yesterday at 12dpo and the line was clear so I could've tested earlier really. I did a digital this morning and got my 1-2 weeks 😊.
