My daughter is 3.5 and I get pain when ovulating.

More so now after a laparoscopy last year.

Paracetamol takes the edge off it with a hot water bottle x

Would you mind if I ask why you had to have that last year? Was it to do with your c section? Xx

Yes. Every month now for 10 years 🙄

Thankyou for your replies! Can I ask what the pain is like?
Mine feels like I've got something lodged in my pelvic area doesn't last long but does hurt xxx

Yes. Terrible pain. I’ve had 3 sections but it really kicked off after a pelvic infection followed a displaced coil. I had a better time this month: I’ve been taking oil of evening primrose for a month and also movicol from a day before I ovulate for 2 or 3 days.

Like period pains on one side one month then the other side the next.

I had an ovarian cyst that was 6cm,
Now the pain is like period cramp in the one side, every month on ovulation day.

Interestingly enough the pain was bad last Sunday which was the day I ovulated but last night I was in pain in the other side

So it's completely normal and no need to see a gp? Is the pain because of the c section? Xxx

I would see a GP if you are worried. I had an ultrasound to make sure everything was ok.
