Struggling to get pregnant

Hello I'm kinda new to all this , so please bare with me . I will try and explain the best way possible .
I am 31 and I already have a little girl who's 5years old . I am no longer with her father we separated when she was 4 years old . I am now on a long term relationship but for the past 8months we have never used protection . I have a tracker on my phone so when it days I'm ovulating we tend to do it more so then as I know sperm last 5 days inside of you . But I am still not falling pregnant , could it be cos both myself and my partner are on anti depressants . I am on a higher dose than him , I'm on venlafaxine 37.5mg 3 x a day . Could this affect me falling pregnant ? I'm due on in 8 days and my nipples have been very sore for the past week or so . I havnt spoken to any of my friends regarding this cos I feel I will just jinx it .
If anyone as any advice they are able to offer please will you leave your lovely comments so I can read through for reassurance that there is hope at the end of this .

P.s I wasn't on anti depressants when I was pregnant . It wasn't until about 3years ago I got diagnosed with it .

Hopefully someone will come along with some positive stories about being on antidepressants but I just wanted to say hi and not to worry!

8 months is not really that long to be trying, although I know it feels like a million years! Are you having regular menstrual cycles? If so, it probably means the antidepressant is not affecting you negatively, so try not to fixate on that worry. Do make sure you go to the GP if you hit the 1 year mark. If you go before a year they'll just say come back when it's been a year so you can save yourself the hassle.

The tracking app may not be very accurate if it's just going on the date of your last period, so best to make sure you're having sex enough and don't rely on doing it 4-5 days in advance to work. Sperm can only survive 5 days in perfect conditions, not all the time. They can't live very long at all outside of EWCM (the most fertile kind of cervical fluid), hours rather than days. xxx

Hiya thank you for commenting, I suppose I'm comparing as with my daughter the first time her father did the deed I fell pregnant . Previous to this I got told i couldn't have kids , so I was very shocked to fall pregnant with my daughter . They said I was highly fertile . But since my daughter was 4 months old , I was pretty much had days to live , I was fighting for my life . My appendix burst and rotted, I got rushed for surgery . They thought it had ended into my bowel as it was that bad . So I do wonder if that ever effected me to get pregnant .... I'm so thankful I have my beautiful girl everyday 😭 and I'm thankful I'm alive for her xx

My advice is get pissing on a stick 😂
Sometimes you can’t reply on apps so this is a bit more accurate or start temping x
