Has anyone had kidney infection, how did it affect next period?

Earlier in month I was hospitalised due to kidney infection and was on iv drip for antibiotics. I was meant to have my period two weeks back but still nothing. Did pregnancy test at hospital follow up last Tuesday as I mentioned lack of period, from test it was negative. They said it could be it’ll be delayed due to antibiotics but it’s 2wks now and I’m bit worried how long I have to wait before getting period as ttc. I’m thinking maybe see doctor next week.

Just wondered if anyone had similar experience and how it was managed medically.

I have had one and it didn't change my period at all. But, any illness and stress can delay your period. I doubt that it need managing medically, you probably will just fall back into a normal pattern now you are feeling better.
