Anyone successfully conceived at 42?

I feel like I've run out of time and am panicking

Any good news stories to make me feel better!?

I work for 2 different people and one has 2 kids (6y & 3y) and she is 45
And someone else who is 47 and has a 3y

@notmy - is this your first? Odds are significantly better if you've been pregnant before.

Yes, the first month after the IUD came out.

I was a bit startled. She is 2.5 years old and simply wonderful.

I conceived my second at 42 and had him aged 43.

Not me, but I have four friends who've had babies in their 40s - their ages at conception were 42, two at 44 and 47!

So it's not impossible!

1st at 42, 2nd at 45. So there is still every chance.

35, 36,39 and 42. I believe it's easier if it's not your first after 40? That might just be an old wives tale though, but this one was a bit of a surprise!

Should clarify that all four babies were happy surprises, no fertility treatment.

I'm 41 and bump is due in four weeks. Natural conception after being told by doctors that it would never happen for me

Yes, complete shock no fertility treatment conceived at 45. First and only !

Yes, I had my second at 43. A bit of a surprise, but pregnancy was smooth and uneventful, although I was a bit more tired than with my first.

I had DD at 44 and know lots of women who had their children at 42 and older. Definitely possible

I got a bfp the third cycle of ttc at 42!! Not first dc though, a six year gap.
Not so lucky trying again at 44. Sadly 3 chemicals and a mmc at 8 weeks.

Yes, literally the first time we started trying for a second. I was 43 when she was born. So don’t panic. Have some accupuncture.
