So in september I found out I was pregnant. Okay so let me start off with all the dates. My last actually period was in August. August 23rd BUT im worried about it not being a real period. How would I have known? I didn’t look up anything about conception until I was Atleast two months along. So by that time my period was very much over. The other guy I slept with. I don’t remember the exact date but I know for a fact it was before the 23rd of August. Maybe a week or maybe two weeks. Well the first sonogram lined up with the first week of September which would be my boyfriends. But I’m just worried about the sonogram being off or something surprising us. I just want it to be my boyfriends baby more than anything. Do I have anything to worry about?

OP, the 12 week dating scan is pretty accurate, shouldn’t be more than a few days out. A 40 week pregnancy is 40 weeks from the first day of your last period, meaning conception around 2 weeks after, so only actually 38 weeks from conception. It looks pretty safe, but a DNA test will be a good idea.

40 weeks after the 23rd of August is 30th of May

This means you conceived after the 23rd of August. Probably around two weeks later which is 6th of September.

The conception calculators have given you. Conception date of the first week in September. So this matches with your due date, your period date, everything.

There's really no chance it's anyone else's with those dates. 12 week scan is very accurate. Certainly within a few days. It's definitely your boyfriends

Thank you. I think people are getting August 23rd because that was my last period and 40 weeks include my period. So I think it is my boyfriends but we are getting a dna test as soon as baby is here. I’m going to see my doctor next week and I’m gonna have a conversation with him about it. Just to be sure.
