BFN on cheapie. Only 8dpo though. Waiting for frer too

I’m not sure if I see something on my cheapie. It’s likely evap line now anyway. Hmmm see what frer says later. I saved a cup of fmu, but after reading link from @headvsheart last night not sure whether to use it, or evening pee..

My dp just found the cup of piss in the bathroom and was like 😂😂

@agteacht 10dpo is still early, there is still time until af shows. Same to the other early testers!!

I'm STILL getting positive opks. 6 days in a row now! No idea how I'll even begin to count dpo.

But anyway, your OPKs sound out of control!
I have never had that. Are they even a little lighter?

I have had strong OPKs and then blank for two days and another surge. I read somewhere that your body sometimes tries to ovulate and then tries again. I don't know how true that is. But you DTD lots so should have a decent chance

@agteacht I don't want to give you false hope but at the same time it's only around 66% of pregnant women that will test positive at 10dpo.

Defo still very strong positive. Not sure if I should carry on dtd. Came down with a cold yesterday so not sure I can be bothered but also don't want to miss it!!

Do you have tests coming up to check you're ovulating?

I’ve done a frer this morning. I think it’s bfn. Tbh my “symptoms” have all gone now so I feel out anyway. But obviously it’s still very early and I got bfn at 9dpo with DD. I’ll have to just wait and see if af turns up, but I was so convinced and now I feel stupid and pretty sure I’m not

If I invest in some OPKS. Is there a better brand to give for or do the internet cheapies work just as well?
The one step strip tests have put me off internet cheapies!

@ShortandSweet Clear blue fertility monitor gives you low, high and peak so clearer, I think. I know it’s a more expensive option but look on eBay-there’s loads on there and just go for older model to make it cheaper too x

@HeartvsHead How annoying for you! Just try and dtd every other day maybe? Have you been doing it every day? You must be knackered 😂

@Crazee don't feel stupid. It's so easy to notice every little thing when you are aware of it and take it as a symptom. We all do it. The one benefit of convincing yourself you are out is if af arrives it's a bit less of a blow. I didn't get nearly as upset the month I was sure I was out.

@agteacht I won't qualify for any tests for another 6 months. Not ttc next month to avoid another Christmas baby but will do the opks again and if I get another 7 day peak I'll probably go to the doctors.

@ShortandSweet96 I think in hindsight I would probably use internet cheapies until I started getting a faint line then switch to the CB digitals. The ICs have been easy enough to use but there is something quite reassuring with a digital.

@Scottish1 yep! Hubby was working Fri night so got a night off then but other than that every night so 've Mon! So hoping the opk goes negative today! Zzzzz

Also even on my longest ever cycle af would now be due a week tomorrow. So do I get away with a 1ww or do you think it will be crazy late? For my average cycle length would be due Friday but I could only be 1dpo right now. So annoying!

Ok... So refered myself to Dr Google about the continuous positive opks (as you do) and one of the things that kept coming up was that opks cannot distinguish between hcg and lh. I have some ic pregnancy tests in the draw so thought 'why not' and...

Yep. Test says pregnant! The second line is about as dark as the control line so not even a squinter.

So either the opks didn't pick up my actual ovulation this month and it was much earlier than I thought or my odd period really wasn't a period (i did take a test just after it which was negative but maybe too early) and I have been pregnant the whole time.

Sending hubby out for a digital with the weeks on it as soon as shops open!
