Hey guys, sorry it's been a while, decided to have a break from it all as it was getting me down, I go through these stages from time to time, hope everyone is well 🙂

@HeartvsHead it went ok, took a full history from me and my husband, had some blood tests there and then, have to go back on the 20th of may and between day's 2 to 4 of my period for more blood tests then we will meet with one of the consultants at the hospital to discuss the results. X

Hi all

I'm still having a pretty confusing time on it, lots of bleeding since Thursday but scan at EPU confirmed baby still fine. Think I might just be having a slightly random pregnancy with bleeding throughout. Does make it very nerve-wracking though. 10 days to the 12w scan.

@agteacht glad all is ok. I know a few people that had pretty regular bleeding thought out and all was fine. Hope it stops soon for you though, can imagine the extra worry it must cause!

I've got my next scan date through. Because the first scan was so late I've ended up with 5 weeks between the two!!

Hope everyone else is good. We had a stomach bug go through the family over the weekend so not been the most fun bank holiday!!

Yes well remembered and thank you! Had my scan this morning and all well ❤️
A really active baby, didn't want to stay still for measurements!

EDD by dates is 8/12 but EDD by scan is 5/12
Which do I take?

@agteacht that's great news that all is well and you'll have a lovely little Christmas baby!
On my first my Edd by dates was 10/2, but after scan around 13/14 weeks it was edd by scan of 13/2 and they officially changed my dates based on the scan. I know it was only three days like yourself but it was a head melt when I went overdue 😂 in my head I always went with the earlier dates for some reason.

@agteacht glad all is ok. They will work of dating scan for every thing now as is most accurate method of dating. My DD was moved back 3 days and this one has been moved forward 5 days.

@Scottish1 my 20 week scan will be the day after yours! We are not finding out sex though. Didn't with first and I quite liked the surprise.

I haven't kept anything down since Sunday. Been drinking dyrolyte and don't feel dehydrated but bit worried. Seeing midwife tomorrow morning so will speak to her then but not sure if I should call 111 or if that's just a bit dramatic!

Hope everyone else is ok. Had to change hospital appointment to 27th June as little boys settling in session on 20th of June, still in two minds on which nursery school to send him too, one he has definitely got a place at and the other we don't know yet, the second school is only small and we got a good feeling about it, made to feel welcome, friendly headteacher and the staff seemed to be too, the one he has a place at went for a tour and felt quite rushed, want to make the right decision. X

Hi ladies, its ShortandSweet.

I've been off MN for a while due to various reasons.

But thought I'd update you all, I got my BFP a fee weeks ago, had my first midwife appointment yesterday. I originally thought I was 6 + 5 but speaking to the midwife regarding some strange events it might actually be that I'm 13 weeks and am now waiting for a scan date to be seen next week.

It's all abit surreal and I dont think it's really sunken in yet.

@pregnantonpurpose hurray! Congratulations!! So happy for you. Will be interesting to see what they date you as on your scan!

@Lauraliverpool it's so hard making those decisions. Think you just have to go with what you feel most comfortable with. I'm dreading applying for school places already and dd is only 2!

Saw midwife this morning. Baby is all good. She was quite impressed by the colour of my urine sample (only my third wee in three days so practically orange juice coloured). She said the baby will take what it needs regardless of how I'm feeling so not to worry and keep sipping water. Feel much happier now. Being ill sucks but worrying about baby is worse!

@HeartvsHead it totally is, so many decisions to make and making sure they are the right ones. Glad is hear baby is all good, does suck when you aren't well, hope you're on the mend soon. Xx
