Hey,

Just stared the TWW (2/3dpo) and wondered if anyone wants to join me? Ovulated much earlier than usual (CD 14) according to OPKs so I'm intrigued if this will have any impact.

TTC n3.

Took 1 year for DC1
2 months for DC2.

Was meant to take a 'see how it goes' approach but of course I'm obsessing and will be symptom spotting!

Hi Blondie!
I’m 1dpo and have also ovulated earlier than was has been normal since my MMC in november.
I had been Ov’ing on CD 16 but this month it was cd12. Only managed to DTD in my window once as I wasn’t prepared for early
ov.

I started taking pregnacare conception at the start of this cycle and wonder if that has had an effect?!
I’m TTC #1 and praying it’ll happen soon!

I’m an obsessive symptom spotter so happy to have some company in the TWW!

Maternitynurse16 · 22/02/2019 09:36

Hey,

I’m 1dpo on my 1st cycle of trying. It’s also my first proper cycle since coming off the depo injection so I’m doubtful but Very excited.

I’ve been symptom spotting since finishing depo so this will be a looooong tww!

CreekyBeaky · 22/02/2019 11:07

Hello, I’m 4dpo TTC no2. Used OPK this month so confident we got the timing right. Taking pregnacare conception too and have been for 3 months. Trying for almost 12 months on a free and easy basis but it’s a military operation now!

Coastaldreamer · 22/02/2019 15:12

Hello,
So I think I’m 1 or 2 dpo Confused (cycles are irregular 28-35 days).

TTC #1 and first proper cycle. Been dtd every other day except Weds as DH was away for work so not sure we’ve hit the jackpot :( do you think I’m still within a shout if we dtd every other day since last week Tuesday besides weds?

These two weeks are going to feel soooo long!!

@Hanni1234 & @blondie87 I’m also obsessing already and will be symptom spotting! I have bad PMS cramps normally so if that comes I’ll know I’ve missed the Feb bus

X

Hanni1234 · 22/02/2019 16:53

@coastaldreamer You definitely have a better chance than me! We only managed to do it twice due to bloody ovulating early. Ovulated yesterday and DTD Tuesday and yesterday. Not holding out much luck, but when I got pregnant in September, we only DTD once in the whole month and managed to catch!

Blondie87 · 22/02/2019 18:04

Welcome ladies.

I think as long as it's within a few days of ovulation you're definitely in with a chance!

I've got a wedding next weekend so I'll be testing a week today as I want to know whether or not I can have a couple of drinks plus I have no will power when it comes to testing!

When will you guys?

CreekyBeaky · 22/02/2019 18:31

@Blondie87 AF is due 3rd March so I’m going to try and wait until I’m late. I always get sucked into testing early and I really struggle with seeing the BFN so it’s 4th March for me.

Miller2 · 22/02/2019 18:37

Hi there. Brand new to all this and still having to google all the acronyms. TTC number 1. Came off the progestogen only pill in December. Using Natural Cycles app to track ovulation etc (along with LH strips which the app tells me when to test). Currently 12dpo. Have had very faint stomach cramps since Tuesday this week so I've been expecting AF to arrive but so far no sign - cramps feel lighter than they did before my last 2 periods and it doesn't feel the same. I was doubled over in pain with the last 2 to the extent I bought a tens machine and considered sacking off this TTC lark and going straight back on the pill and getting a dog instead - the pain was excruciating reminding me why I was put on the pill by the GP in the first place. Persevering for now and using the tens machine when AF does make an appearance just to get through the first 3 days, it's tolerable after that. I was due on yesterday but no sign yet. App says to test on Monday if still no sign. Only my second cycle of trying (I'm not counting the first one as that was the first time off the pill since 17 (now 34) so wanted to let my system work out what's what when not pumped full of contraceptive hormones. Boobs are in total agony too which isn't a symptom I normally suffer with when AF is due (this is based on 2 AFs so far, plus the one immediately off the pill so I'm aware that's not many to go off but sore boobs is a new one on me). Dunno whether I'm just wishful thinking or not though! Suppose I'll find out on Monday.

Blondie87 · 22/02/2019 19:11

@Creeky I really get that disappointment of testing early and getting through lots of tests only to not be pregnant. I'd try and hold out but if I were to be pregnant and could get a positive that early I'd know to avoid drinking at the wedding. That in itself would be tricky as friends would notice and then I'd get all sorts of questions!

OP posts:
Blondie87 · 22/02/2019 19:12

@Miller2 I hope the TENS machine gives you some relief. Hope you get the result you want on Monday.

@Blondie87 I’m now in a similar position to you. We’ve just made arrangements to visit family next weekend (staying over Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and big sit down meals with wine are the norm so I’ll test Friday before we leave and then if BFP I’ll fish out a half consumed box of antibiotics from the “medicine” cupboard so I have a back story and reason not to drink! Fingers crossed all round!

Blondie87 · 24/02/2019 08:27

It's tricky in the tww isn't it? I had a big family party last night and had two small glasses of wine to put people off as I really don't want people speculating, particularly if I'm not pregnant. As I'm trying for my third I'm not sure how my parents will react!!

Blondie87 · 25/02/2019 07:38

How is everyone getting on?

OP posts:
CreekyBeaky · 25/02/2019 08:05

I’m having a hard time not symptom spotting. I feel very tired though and quite nauseated.

Blondie- I’m not sure how my parents would react if I got pregnant with no2. They have some strong opinions about what I should be focusing on. I’m 39 FFS! It’s why I don’t really have a very good relationship with them.

CreekyBeaky · 25/02/2019 19:00

I give up, I’m now symptom spotting with vengeance. I’ve had light cramping all day, I’m 8dpo. I am slightly worried that it’s not cramping though and just a sick to my stomach feeling as I’m so anxious about getting pregnant.

Mseddy · 25/02/2019 23:38

Hey. I'm 4dpo today (confirmed by temping). I was pretty active on here earlier on in our TTC but got a bit drummed down by all the BFP's and our snow white tests every month, but I'm feeling better about things this month and it's nice to share the dreaded TWW with others.

TTC no 1
Cycle 9

My DH has medical history that potentially could have wiped all his swimmers out and our GP has started the ball rolling with fertility testing. I think that's why I'm feeling slightly better this month.

Any way despite our crappy odds I'm still hopeful every month and symptom spot like crazy!! So far I have burning nipples and some nausea (the nausea might be induced by the shocking off diet day I've had today!!)

Baby dust to all x

Blondie87 · 26/02/2019 08:27

Hi mseddy. I'm glad you'll get some answers from your GP. As you said, you never know so I have my fingers crossed for you.

Yes I'm symptom spotting too creeky. It's impossible not to! I have to say, cramping was the first sign I had with my first pregnancy (which was success) so I hope it's a positive one for you!

For me, really vivid dreams were also a sign (not sure why this is the case) but last night I had two really clear ones!

I'm going to take an early response Thursday and Friday before this wedding I've got but with my two previous BFP they didn't show until when period was due.

OP posts:
Blondie87 · 28/02/2019 06:50

So I'd never allow myself to test so early but because of these wedding I tested this morning with a FRER and BFN. I'm only 9dpo though!

OP posts:
CreekyBeaky · 28/02/2019 08:15

Sorry to hear that blondie, it is still quite early so fingers crossed you’re not out yet. When will you test again?

Blondie87 · 28/02/2019 10:45

Thanks, I'm not too disappointed. Got a feeling it's not the month which is ok. Will probably re-test at the weekend.
