Hi all, i need your help. Ive just had a positive pregnancy test....but im on the pill. I also have the problem i slept with 2 people a week apart. I guess i know which its most likely to be and maybe only a dna test will actually give the answer but i thought to ask your advice. My period started 21st jan and was for around 5 days i slept with number1 guy on 29th jan and then number 2 on the 5th of feb....i only slept with number 1 as a 1off and the 2nd guy numerous times since the 5th but since im on the pill this shouldnt have happened anyway.

Most likely to be man 2 if your cycle is the perfect 28 day cycle and you ovulated on CD14. But if you ovulated any earlier then it could well be man 1.

It's probably more likely to be the second guy - if it was the first you'd have ovulated on the 8th day of your cycle which is quite early. If it's the second you might have ovulated on the 15th day which is more normal.

How long are your cycles normally though?

This may sound super stupid but i dont understand the whole cycle length timing i never learnt about it all. I take my pill and come on my period the next day, i have a period for 5 days then 2 days off then take the pill again if that helps....sorry im so clueless my heads really worrying now.

Looking at the days between my last period it looks that it would be man 1 but not sure i understand thw dating properly

Day 1 is the first day of your last period, so in your case 21st January. On average you will ovulate 14 days after that so that would be around 4th February. You can generally get pregnant if you have sex 4-5 days before you ovulate and up to one day after. The sperm can live in you for up to 5 days but that is not likely. It is more likely that man 2 is the father but not impossible that it was man 1
