fellow charters - temp drop after surge?

Been TTC for a year and a half (not very scientifically though). This is my first month of returning to proper charting (which did the trick last time). I have had a big temp drop this morning (4 or 5 dpo) and am panicked. Was 36.07 and had been 36.6-36.7 previous few days. Have read that could be estrogen surge? Any other ideas. Had been feeling really positive but am now feeling a bit like maybe I didn't ov after all

Hi, I'm not 100% but isn't it possible to get an implantation dip about 5-7 dpo and then your temps to go back up?

I'm sure an expert on temping will come along soon and let you know.

Fingers crossed for you

I'm no expert, but I had an implanation dip on my DD charts at 5DPO and got a BFP at 10DPO.

FF says implantation dip between 7 and 10 DPO is normal

If you temp goes up tomorrow that is looking very good.

Good luck

A temp drop could be implantation, but as you say you may not have ovulated yet... I wouldn't worry too much about the odd temp here and there, it's the whole picture that is important.

Thanks for the replies. Temp went up again and is still above coverline though has been lower last two days so am feeling more positive that I ov'd but less positive that we've been lucky this month.
