How long after positive OPK do you ovulate?

Hi there,

I was just wondering when people usually ovulate after a positive OPK? I'm only on cd 13 and I've got a positive OPK which is surprisingly early for me as I reckon I usually ovulate between Cd16-20. Can the LH surge go on a few days or is it likely I'll ovulate tomorrow? Am ttc but only managed to dtd in Saturday so hoping I'll ovulate tomorrow so I've got a slim chance this month!

@Blondie87 I am new to this, only second month of TTC but have used OPKs this month and my understanding is that you ovulate between 12-48 hours after LH surge. If you DTD Saturday, you'd probably be ok as sperm can survive up to 7 days.

Just have sex every day for the next two weeks. You'll hit the right day.

Every other day should also work, but that's less sex overall, thus less fun.
