5 days flashing smiley...GOING CRAZY!

Hello im new here!!

My partner and I have been trying to conceive now for 6 months and thought we would give the Clearblue Digital Ovulation Tests a try. My cycles range from between 29-32 days (annoying)

My last cycle was 32 days so I went by that when reading the instructions with the Clearblue Tests, it told me to start testing on CD12, I got blank circles for 2 days, now been having flashing smileys for 5 days ITS DRIVING ME MENTAL!! Im not on CD 18 and am freaking out that ive missed my ovulation :(

We have BD every 2nd day since I started testing.

Has any one else had something similar to this and managed to concieve or eventually get their static smiley?? Please help :( :(

Another flashing smiley for me this morning Sad BD last night though. Even if the holder does not detect peak fertility once the high fertility phase is over will it go back to showing a plain circle???

@babydreamer24 did you get your peak in the end? I’m 4dpo and just had 12 days of high fertility before I got my peak eventually!

@JadeSB Yes I did! I got it on CD23 after 9 days of high fertility! FINALLY! So we BD the night I got my peak and 2 days before it as well, but now im worried that its not long enough between the peak and my period starting for implantation to occur :( :( Im really hoping im still in for a good chance! Hi all me and my partner decided end of last August we are ready to start the next chapter and try for a baby so since September we have been trying and having regular sex for the first month I used cheap ovulation strips and never got a posativeSmile so I decided to buy the clear blue one and I got a positive the second month but never got pregnant. Until this month I bought the clearblue digital advanced that picks up the 2 hormones the first 2 days I got a negative and since then I've had 15 smiley faces no peak!!has anyone had this? Getting so frustrated as come from a very large family where people just seem to get pregnant so easy and im starting to think there's something wrong. Any advise would be greatly appreciated x

@George2012 as I have put below I have literally just finished a cycle on 12 days of high fertility before my 2 peak days arrived, that was my 3rd cycle of using the CB ov tests though, a lot of people say sometimes they need 1-2 cycles to get used to your cycles but I don't know if I believe that 🤔 any who... so yeah you may still get your peak days 🤷🏼‍♀️ although I had 12 days of high days I knew when my peak fertility was coming up due to change in discharge.. (sorry if tmi) do you notice your body changes during ov?

@jadeSB, I hope that they'd work first cycle considering the cost of them, I thought I was as I got the pin pick pains in the corner of groin which someone mentioned could be ovulation and my skin was also terrible if this has anything to do with it. And not to worry you can never have too much info. I had some and I've notice today I also have some discharge. I've been making sure I've had sex lots while I've been getting the flashing smiley but i thought it would of gone of by now. 😣

@George2012 I was thrilled when I finally got my peak days as me and OH had done the deed nearly every night for 12 days and I was knackered!😓 fingers crossed your peak days do eventually arrive! And yeah you would think they'd be more efficient as they are so expensive! Do you buy yours only or in the shop?

@JadeSB bless you I know the feeling it knocks the mood a little when I'm like we need to do it today especially when boyfreind is tired 😂 I hope I do get a peak day soon as 15 days of high fertility surly must mean I need a peak day 😩 and I bought mine of amazon and it cost me £34 I cant afford to keep doing this every month I dont know why you can't but the sticks so you don't have to buy the full lots again 😡

Ovulation sticks and dates and what not completely floor me.
I have cycles similar to you - 29-33 days. I used ovulation sticks and couldn't seem to "get it right" so just gave up on it as I was getting really stressed over it. Following month I fell pregnant. My cycle started 6/11, and I bled for the following 6 days. We BD every other day from CD9. I got a BFP on 6/12. Did a clearblue digital on the 8/12 which said 3+ weeks which apparently date from conception which would've meant I conceived around 15/11 - only a few days after I stopped bleeding!? Very confusing and I still now have no idea what date exactly I conceived but I'm 17 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I always thought I was ovulating a lot later on that I actually was especially with a longer cycle but apparently not. Science is weird! Sending you lots of baby dust xxx

@jadeSB im on cycle day 29, my cycles are messed up and can be any where from 35 to 42 days 😬 so I started testing a few days before the reccomend test dates according to the clear blue time line and you get 20 tests 😤

Oh right, I buy the CB Bluetooth ones that connect to an app on your phone that are generally £25 for the holder and 25 test sticks.. so perhaps if you have no luck you should try them in future..

@JadeSB finally a constant smiley face ☺ after 17 days of testing and on day 30 of my cycle! I just hope it would be enough time for implantation if it was to happen this month 😁
