Help! One step internet cheapies

Hello lovely ladies, so ttc number 2 for just over a year now. I had a mc last year sadly and then no luck since.
I feel like we’ve done everything right this month (timing etc) and am due on Wed. Have a few symptoms but nothing that couldn’t be AF related.
On Fri (8dpo) and today (10 dpo) I used a one step ic test that came free with the ovulation tests and BFN for each. I’ve heard terrible things about them but they were in the cupboard so I couldn’t resist.
Just wondered what anyone else’s experience with them has been?

10dpo is still early. I got BFPs on first response at 12dpo but not until 14dpo on the one step.

I got a very faint line at 11DPO, so could still be too early x

I use these tests and got my first positive although it was faint a few days ago at 10DPO, as I had stocked up with loadsss of these tests I did over do it and took loads of them. They all came back positive but varied with the depth of the colour, some were a lot lighter than others so I think it depends how much dye is in the test. So I got positives for three days on these tests. However I have started bleeding today so I think I am having a chemical pregnancy, but these tests are still picking up what little HCG I must have left as I’ve still been getting positives today. Very confusing.
