Hi
I'm new too! TTC no 3 and also have 2 boys!
How are you getting on?
I am 35 and on our second cycle but pretty sure I'm about to get my period 🙄

Momof2boyss · 16/02/2019 18:50

Hey @piddlestix !

Keeping everything crossed for you!

How old are your children?

I'm 27, I have no idea on cycle details all I can say is that I had my implant removed 2 weeks ago (after having it in for 2 years) and I'm waiting for my first period. We have been dtd but without knowing any details on my cycle it's anyone's guess if we've actually conceived or not! x

Wow @Momof2boyss that's such a coincidence!
Does everyone automatically ask you if you're only going for a third because you want a girl?! 😂😂 (that's if they know you're starting trying of course).
I mean, don't get me wrong, a girl would be so lovely and when I was a kid I always used to wish I could have two boys and a girl when I was grown up! But I want another baby because I want a huge crazy family! And a boy would fit perfectly into that madness too.
What I thought was my period turning up wasn't in the end and was just 2 days of very light pinkish spotting (which has the potential to be implantation bleeding) so it's not a definite no yet but I'm trying not to get my hopes up. Due on tomorrow so will do a test in the morning!
How are you getting on? X

Evening lovely.

That definitely sounds like implantation bleeding, I'm keeping everything crossed for you - please let me know how you get on in the morning!!

I definitely have people assume that it's a girl i really want (nobody knows we're trying but I openly say I'd love another baby to add to our little family) like you though id be happy with another boy OR a girl.

Would you mind if I ask what your births were like with your boys?

I've had a slight bit of cramping 4 days ago (usually it's full force and a sure sign I'm due on) but apart from that I've not come on and had no other signs or symptoms of anything. I'm just waiting patiently for something, anything to happen haha!

I have extremely sore boobs which I've only ever had with pregnancy however I've read loads of people say they've experienced this when they've had they're implant removed so I'm just putting it down to that.

I've been taking pregnancy tests and ovulation tests once a day and both definite negatives!

Going to test in the morning if period isn't here by then so will definitely let you know. However I've had a little more bleeding today (still light and pink) but also had some cramps and I feel like I'm due on. So not overly hopeful!

I've never had the implant so no idea on the symptoms after it's removed. It would be so brilliant if you conceived straight after having it out! I know from when I came off the pill you're often super fertile the first month after stopping it so fingers crossed!

I was really lucky with both my births. Straightforward and quick labours (the second I was only in hospital for 2 hours before he was out!) and both times in the water with gas and air. They were both a little early too - the first at 37 weeks and the second at 38 weeks. It makes me worry if I have a third I'll have to stay close to the hospital in case it comes rocketing out with little warning! 😂😂🚀🚀
Although then it could be the complete opposite and I'll be 2 weeks late and in labour for days....
My pregnancies weren't easy though with gestational diabetes and really high blood pressure!

How were your pregnancies and births?? Xx

piddlestix · 19/02/2019 08:35

Oh my god! Tested this morning and got the BFP!
Early days yet though and feeling a bit nervous about the spotting. So won't be shouting it from the rooftops for a bit!!! Xx

I was just coming in to reply to your message!

My births were both c sections, first an emergency & second an elective. I also had gestational diabetes, with my second pregnancy.

I miss the feeling of being pregnant I absolutely love it even when your near the end and have a huge baby bump 🥰

Please keep me updated on how your doing. I've not tested this morning, I'm going to try and leave it now, maybe test in a weeks time is my period hasn't turned up.

Huge congratulations again lovely xx

Awww thanks I'll keep you posted for sure. Likewise with you - let me know how you get on please. I'm sure you won't have to wait long for a positive result soon.
I'm still having very light bleeding on and off so not feeling overly optimistic about this! But just have to try and chill out and wait and see what happens! Xx

Momof2boyss · 19/02/2019 21:45

Definitely take it easy and stay positive I'm sure everything will be absolutely fine 💛

Il let you know if anything happens with me, I'm still having no symptoms of a period or pregnancy at the mo xx
