How long after missed period did you test positive?

Hey ladies I'm 3DPO, I have a 35 day cycle. Tested earlier on a cheap test was sure I saw something but threw it away as not to build my hopes up

Anyway when did you test positive and have a legible result? Was thinking of buying a FRER but might wait a week?

I could see a faint suggestion of a line a couple of days before my period was due.

I don’t know what 3DPO means, three days post ovulation ? If it is that it would be far too early.

I got a clear result at 8dpo, but my dates for ovulation were bang on. Most don't get a clear positive till the day af is due. Try www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/ it gives really clear stats on how many women get a false negative by day past ovulation.

I was due Tuesday

Got positive tests the day before it was due and the day it was due.

I tested about 3 times a day for the first week after my period was due and nothing. All big fat negatives. No faint lines. I left it 3 days then and tested again on day 10 and got the shock of my life
I'm now 35w

There is variation as conception can’t be pinpointed, but it sounds as if you had a faint positive this morning? Maybe try again and post the image ?

AF was due on Wed or Thurs - had a faint positive early Thurs morning, and again this morning, using a FRER. Haven't ever tried using the cheapie ones, so I can't compare I'm afraid.

@namechange8471 you would be able to see a positive result now if your period is late . Try to test with FMU.

I'm really intrigued with this as well. Was due on yesterday and still no sign of AF. Clear blue was negative but that was in the evening. Don't know whether I should just expect AF or try again with a FRER?

I had a negative clear blue and first response first thing yesterday morning when AF was due. Still no AF, the cramps or bloating I get, the break out of spots etc, but also no BFP. Hopefully it just takes us a bit longer.

@Namechange8471 definitely! I'm trying to not get my hopes up. I don't have any "symptoms" of pregnancy or PMS so who knows!

I got a strong line on a frer 5 days before period x

Sorry I havn't been on in a few days, I am out though. AF has been and gone. Probably better off as I broke a bone and had a flu so I have been taken lots of meds I couldn't take if pregnant!

How are the rest of you getting on?

I was due on Tuesday, tested today and got a bfp. Wasn't the darkest of lines but wasn't faint either.

Strong positive 1 day late (CD29 of 28 days) on FRER.

10dpo (well, IVF so 5dp5dt) pm on a FRER.

So I think I’m 1 or 2 dpo confused (cycles are irregular 28-35 days).

TTC #1 and first proper cycle. Been dtd every other day except Weds as DH was away for work so not sure we’ve hit the jackpot sad do you think I’m still within a shout if we dtd every other day since last week Tuesday besides weds?

These two weeks are going to feel soooo long!!

@Hanni1234 & @blondie87 I’m also obsessing already and will be symptom spotting! I have bad PMS cramps normally so if that comes I’ll know I’ve missed the Feb bus
