Hi All,

Is there anyone out there who is worried about their weight while TTC, or wanting to lose weight during/before TTC?

Thought it may be nice to have a thread to encourage and also rant if needed!

@Tchelsea Hey! I’m a bit overweight, and my cycles since having my son 21 months ago have been anything from 53-70+ days. I have recently lost 11.5lb and even just by losing that amount of weight, I think by the looks of my OPK I am ovulating today/tomorrow and I am currently on CD26 which is very early for me to ovulate! So it looks like the weight loss is going to help regulate my cycles a bit, so even if I don’t get pregnant this month, (we are actively trying) then I feel positive that my weight loss is most certainly helping!!

@Suzie2287 That's brilliant! It's amazing how much better we feel when we lose even a few pounds! Keeping my fingers crossed and sending you lots of baby dust for this month!

My cycles are and have always been pretty regular 24-26 days, Ovulate between day 10-13!

Yeah, I feel so much better for it! And my main reason for losing weight was to help my cycles/fertility so I am so, so pleased that it seems to be working! Before I had my son, my cycles were about 33 days so looks like this cycle (if I don’t get pregnant) is going to be around 40 days so I’m very pleased!

@Suzie2287 That's absolutely amazing!
