TTC after depo injection

Hi all,

Getting really fed up and I just want someone who's in the same boat. I had my last depo injection 1st May 2018, not had one since. Also not had a period or what looks like ovulated at all. Conceived really easily with dd (now 3yo). Really want another now, feel like it's a good time. I know that's not quite how it works.
I've been for blood test at drs which all came back ok, but starting getting a pain in lower right side during sex. Had an ultrasound and waiting on results. Scared it could be something more serious, but then it could be nothing. Anyone else struggling?

For me, although the depo was fab at the time, it is quite possibly one of the worst things I ever did. I had my last injection Oct '17, I got a sort of period in Oct '18 & they have only become somewhat regular now. Although I was a young mum (20) I never had any issues previously with irregular periods etc. Now, almost 18 months on, I'm not even convinced I'm ovulating properly. Partner & I are not actively trying to conceive until further on in the year, I'm just trying to establish my cycles now really. Long story short, I can't offer any words of advice, just that you're not on your own 💗
