Hi All - My wife and I have been trying to conceive for a long time. This 2-week wait felt different, and she was complaining about symptoms.
This morning she was due for her period, and to my upset, there was a tampon wrapper in the bin.

When I questioned she growled at me and told me to shut up. (it has been hard for us both)

Not being a woman I wouldn't know but would you still put the tampon in, even if you hadn't started to bleed? Have I got a glimmer of hope to grip on to or do we have another month of no go?

I think it would be extremely unusual to put a tampon in if you are not on your period. She may have had spotting (not necessarily meaning it's your full period) which is why she might have put a tampon in, but I think given her reaction I'm sorry to say it does sound as though she is extremely upset and most probably over the arrival of her period.

Sorry @BIF1989 - I do hope it happens for you soon! Be kind to each other!
