Very dark line 10 DPO!

Can’t believe it! Tested today 6pm and got this really dark line within 60 seconds! Only 10 dpo. Af not due until Wednesday but “feeling” pregnant since Wednesday. Is the dark line a sign of multiple pregnancy?

Can't see a picture. But I heard of this before and it is simply down to how quickly the hcg hormone rises - it is different for every woman and every pregnancy.
I wouldn't rule out multiples but from the forums I've seen some people have had crazy high numbers and only had a single. Only way to know for sure if when you have your first scan.

Hi you may have ovulated earlier than you thought, I had a very dark pregnancy test with my little boy and it turned out I ovulated 3 days after my period (no idea how that's even possible) but it can happen

Oh really? I used OPKs (Clear Blue) and got a solid smiley on Wed 30th Jan so thought I was pretty accurate! Had got blanks the days before!

I had an unusually dark line before AF. It was twins. So it could be, or as PP said, you might be further along than you realise. Either way, congratulations!

I had a very dark line and my hgc levels (blood test) were ridiculously high. Significantly higher than the upper range given on everything. I’d also had a previous twin pregnancy (miscarried one twin) so I thought I must be carrying more than one. But there was one!

Got my twin bfp at 9dpo, it was so faint you could barely see it, a real squinter.

Ahhh exciting thank you all for your kind replies. I’m hoping this one sticks, I had an early MC last month. Got a faint BfP 14 DPO and AF arrived 3 days later, I didn’t even test early. Fingers crossed!

I had a squinter at 8dpo, decent line at 9dpo and strong at 10dpo. I'm 15wks and there's definitely just one in there!

It was a relief though because my line at 9dpo was stronger than any line I got with my early loss in April. That time it was a squinter at 12dpo which only got marginally darker.

For a positive opk on the 30th you could be 11dpo today . I have twins and no darker pregnancy test.

Here's mine at 10dpo with twins 😊 the bottom one! I also for 3+ on a Cb digi early too! They're 2 now xx
