Positive test...then line disappeared.

Has this happened to anyone before? Was it a dud test?

I saw the dye changing colour and 2 lines appeared and was there for about 30 seconds...then it started fading...then faded/almost disappeared.

I'm planning on testing again in the morning but never experienced this in a test.
I'm on day 24 of my cycle and I think I'm 9/10dpo? I'm not really sure how you work it out

How soon after you dipped the test? May still have been going through thats why they say wait 3 mins xx

The lines appeared almost instant.
From start to finish it was about 5 minutes and by 5 minutes the line is almost gone.
I can't get a good picture as the lighting is so bad.

That sounds like the dye just passing over that bit of the test... Sorry.

It didn't happen to the one I did today it went straight to negative, no second line at all.

I went to order another pack from Asda online and noticed the reviews were one star! Saying how they was giving false negatives/positives.
They were the second brand I brought, I had some One Step ones from Amazon and had the same thing happen with them.

I'm giving up untill I'm actually late and then buying a pricey one.
