Just a heads up for anyone using internet cheapies one step hpts
The clear blue is sensitive at 25 and still total negative on the one step which is supposed to be sensitive at 10! Useless! I've tested with them several times and am yet to have a positive- I have 8 different tests all positives!

Unless I've misunderstood both tests in your picture are positive, 2 lines on the pink one? xx

RunOstrich · 09/02/2019 19:25

That's so weird! I've only ever used Internet cheapies, and they have been positive before or on the day I expected my period. 3 pregnancies. All detected with cheap tests early on and haven't needed other brands. I wonder whether there are just more bad batches out there and I've been lucky, as I've heard other negative reviews but never had a problem.

GirlGang · 09/02/2019 19:30

I've been peeing on these for days now Blush all negative yet I have so many symptoms. Will be buying some other ones tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up!

INeedNewShoes · 09/02/2019 19:32

Congratulations!

The internet cheapies always took a few more days to show positive for me.

I would say that although they don't quite live up to their claim of sensitive from 10 (whatever the unit is), that they still have their place.
Anyone on a budget can use these to test from when they've actually missed their period and it'll tell them whether they're pregnant. Not everyone can afford FRER or the Clearblue digital.

I saved a fortune using the One Step cheapie OPKs rather than the smiley face digitals.

itsmehere1 · 09/02/2019 19:34

Congratulations @Tryingforno2 ! How many dpo are you currently?

ShowOfHands · 09/02/2019 19:36

When I used them, they showed positive long before CB digital and FRER. Where did you buy them? Sure they're genuine?

adelias · 09/02/2019 19:38

Oh yeah I had someone who was driving herself crazy with worry using these because the line was super faint and not getting any darker, she switched to FRERs and the lines were really dark.

Tryingforno2 · 09/02/2019 20:33

@dolphinsanddoughnuts yes there are 3 tests in the pic

Sunshinegirl82 · 09/02/2019 20:34

I had the same experience, now 27 weeks so was definitely positive!

Tryingforno2 · 09/02/2019 20:35

@INeedNewShoes absolutely I also used cheaply opks but just thought I'd pop this one on for anyone having symptoms thinking they were going mad and getting negatives, on searching google it seems they weee recalled off the Australian market after an investigation testing their efficacy x

Twickerhun · 09/02/2019 20:36

Ive found them to be really accurate and more sensitive than clear blue et al. Definitely been good for me

Tryingforno2 · 09/02/2019 20:37

dolphinsanddoughnuts · 09/02/2019 20:45

Apologies, could only see 2 on my phone, can see all 3 when I open photo fully now x

pinkstar01 · 09/02/2019 20:55

Ah I needdd to see this! Getting all sorts of symptoms and used a step one test this morning (also from amazon) and nothing. I think maybe the amazon seller is not selling the genuine articles.

pinkstar01 · 09/02/2019 20:56

And many congratulations to you btw! Thanks for posting xx

Tryingforno2 · 09/02/2019 20:59

@dolphinsanddoughnuts i Just realised when I scrolled back that the snippet only showed 2 tests 🤦‍♀️ sorry was probably confusing as I only talked about 2 of them didn't mention the frer x

OP posts:
Tryingforno2 · 09/02/2019 21:02

@pinkstar01 li was wondering if some have been pulled off the market maybe someone has got their hands on the dodgy ones and is reselling them! I thought I was losing it had so many obvious symptoms and just bfn after bfn! I'm sure they might show up positive in a week or so maybe but you buy early response because that's what you want especially if your a poas addict like me 😂😂

pinkstar01 · 09/02/2019 21:03

@Tryingforno2 the reviews for it on amazon are all bad ones recently and one woman said she actually put them in water and the control line still came up! So yea they are fake ones I think. That seller should be reported Angry

Tryingforno2 · 09/02/2019 21:12

@pinkstar01 yep I noticed that when I went back and searched them but the ones I bought had no reviews so I think they relisted them recently so there was no bad reviews underneath! So sneaky! I'm going to contact them tomorrow and ask for a refund and leave a review but I guess they can just keep relisting them I will see if I can report to amazon but I'm not sure if anything would be done x

MaryShelley1818 · 09/02/2019 21:25

Definitely sounds like fakes. They always worked perfectly for me and showed my BFP with DS at 9DPO.

ShowOfHands · 10/02/2019 12:32

Definitely sound like fakes then. I also tested positive at 9dpo with these and frer and cb weren't positive until 3/4 days later.
