Hi all

We’ve been TTC for 6 months now with our first baby, we are 36 and 38.

I’m after some advice in using the Clearblue digital ovulation sticks, the ones with the circle for no LH surge, the flashing smiley for LH surge and the static smiley for peak.

Who uses these? I find that I from no LH surge, to surge to peak over 3 days.. is this normal?

Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks all, Luisa.

I use them. First cycle I used them I only got one low day then 4 high before peak. This cycle 4 low, one high and next day was peak.

I’ve read some that have two weeks of high days before peak.

Hi there, Ive been using them for a few months now, I find them really good actually, they take out the interpretation work compared to the cheaper Amazon ones where you have to compare lines.

If you are getting all three stages (empty circle, flashing smiley and static smiley) then it's working perfectly for you. Some people might get more days of flashing smiley before their peak, but this just means you just have slightly quicker hormone surges than them, this isn't a problem when TTC as far as I'm aware.

Good luck! :)

Yes I prefer them too; it’s crystal clear with then what’s happening. Good to know all seems normal, I think as this is our first we are trying for it’s all just so unknown!

I’ve had that too, months where I’ve had the flashing smiley for days at a time then this month for just one day..!
