Line progression worry...?

Hello, just after some advice! Attached is a pic of two tests.

I took the first test yesterday at 9/10 dpo at about 5.30pm, but my wee was super concentrated (sorry if tmi).

I then took the bottom one this morning at 10/11 dpo at 5.30am but I had been awake in the night with my toddler and gone to the loo/drank a glass and a half of water and my wee was much paler.

I guess I just really expected this mornings to be darker and am now worried about a CP - but perhaps the concentration impacted it?

I had a late miscarriage in October so feeling nervous I think!

I looked at the picture reading and thought the bottom one was a bit darker than the top.

They look really similar to me. Maybe wait a few days to test and compare. And Congratulations!

Your hcg doubles after 48 hours.
Taking another test only 24 hours after the last one wouldn’t really show much, of any, progression.
There’s no need to keep testing. You’re pregnant!
Congratulations

The bottom one does look a tiny bit darker - you won't get much progression in 12 hours though, wait for 48 between tests if you can!

Refilona · 09/02/2019 12:08

I really wouldn’t worry about it as it depends on how diluted your urine is and the total volume, and it’s impossible to compare properly only a day apart.

I definately don't think you need to worry as you are still not due af so it is very early anyway and you really haven't left long between tests. I do get it though. Also I think the second test is a smidgen darker. Congrats!

Thank you all for all of the responses and for putting my mind at ease so much.

I did end up taking another test after holding it a few hours. It was a first response rapid result (as opposed to 'early result' which the others are) and got a nice looking line. That cured any worries as that test is less sensitive! So fingers crossed a good sign.

Thanks again 💗
