Hi, new user alert!!

Been with my partner who's 27 (28 this year) and has a child from a previous relationship for 3 years. Been TTC for 2 and had no luck, I'm 22 for perspective.

Have just started taking Pregnacare Pre-conception tablets in the hope that something will happen this cycle. I know it's probably TMI but each month I come on my period, I get big clots for the first two days. Don't know whether this is something I need to be overly concerned about but though someone out there could offer some advice!!

Just feel like I'm failing as a woman and as a result it's putting strain on my relationship, because I'm so upset each month about not getting my BFP :(

Thank you all in advance ladies

JN xx

If you're concerned I'd talk to your doc. I haven't experienced this before so sorry, couldn't say whether it's 'normal' (although everyone's normal is very different).

You're certainly not failing, everyone is different and these things can take time. Xxx

Hi @jelizabethnewby ,

I know exactly how you feel! Partner (33) and I (27) have been trying for 8 months with no joy.
When AF arrives each month it's devastating; I feel like I'm failing at the one thing I should be 'programmed' to do as a women!
We have no children between us but it's the only thing in the world we want.

First two days of my AF are agony! It seems as though I have all 5 days worth of bleed in 2!
I'm currently on CD29, cycle is normally 27-30 days and I'm going insane!
If this isn't my month I don't know how I'll cope!

Sending you lots of good thoughts!

Hi! Also 22 and trying. Trying and failing!
I bloody hate all these waiting games. Waiting for ovulation, waiting for symptoms, waiting to test, waiting for AF to show. This month I've promised myself to chill. I'm 1dpo today and actually don't feel at all stressed about it, I'm just fed up of being disappointed so what will be will be!

Sorry I've only just seen all of these responses!

For some reason, and I don't know whether it's the "ghost" symptoms when you get it into your head that you think you're pregnant, but I just feel different this month. I really don't know whether I'm just overthinking it all and it's going to be a BFN in 2 weeks time and of course I'll be totally devastated.
Also don't know whether it's a result of taking the Pre-conception tablets that could be messing with my body either; but have felt majorly bloated/sick/weird taste in my mouth/lack of appetite over the last week or so. It's all just very new to me and because I've never felt like it before, coupled with the fact I've never had the tablets before, I don't know what I'm feeling lol!

Sending positive thoughts out to you all ❤👸
