Hi everyone! Before I start, TMI alert on all things ejaculation related...
My husband is unable to ejaculate through sex (always has been) and can only ejaculate through masturbating. Not a problem at all (in fact could be quite fun!) before TTC since he was happy to go until I was ready to stop, but am getting concerned that we are going to struggle now we are TTC (#1).
What we've been doing so far is for him to get himself to 'the edge', then me jumping on when ejaculation is imminent. I think this sort of works, but am worried that since he has to keep his hand gripping the base of the penis (to 'hold it in' til I can get into position) then he doesn't get that deep into me, since his hand is between us and can't get it away in time. It's hard to figure out exactly when he does ejaculate as well, but I'm worried it might be slightly too soon (still 'on the way in' as it were), and so since 70% of the sperm are in the first, er, squirt (right word?) I believe, then I am worried that this, ahem, squirt isn't landing on the cervix but somewhere on the way in! He definitely does ejaculate inside, I'm just worried it's not far enough inside. We also do it like this with me on top since that is the easiest way for him, so gravity can't even do it's thing.
We're only on cycle 4 so I know I shouldn't perhaps be worrying too much, but it's hard not to wonder!
DH feels slightly uncomfortable about talking about it too much as he knows it's not the conventional way, and he got a bit upset when I mentioned insemination once as an option so I don't want to worry him too much with it and still hope our way will work. We're both 33 and otherwise healthy.
I've done a search and see that it's been mentioned here before, and obviously done lots of googling, but wondered if anyone else here now has experience with this and can offer some words of advice, or even success stories in a similar situation?
