How to read an opk

Evening ladies - just done my first ever opk, what a step! Bit late in the evening to do it, I know, but more curious just to try one out before starting in earnest.

It's come up with a v faint test line. My femometer app says this should be logged as high fertility, but it seems really early in my cycle for that. I usually seem to ov around cd15/16, and today is only cd9.

What would you read this line as, please?

Hi,

I believe that the opk is positive when both lines are as dark as each other. I would say that test is negative.
