Clearblue digital ovulation vs temping

Hi all

I have been temping using Ovusense for the past five months. Until last month, it aligned well with Clear Blue digital ovulation tests. Last month clear blue gave me a static smiley on CD14, but Ovusense temps didn't confirm ovulation until CD24.
This month the same thing is happening, static smiley on CD 15 but no sign of any kind of ovulation temp rises at all.
I don't have PCOS but I apparently do have some polycysts on my ovaries. Could this affect the digital ovulation test results?

The opks only show a surge in LH that occurs before ovulation- it doesn’t necessarily mean that you will actually ovulate. You can have these many times per month. Temping is the better way to see if you have ovulated, but only if you’re taking it accurately.

I would suggest that you continue to test using opks (get some cheap ones) throughout your cycle next month and see if they show another surge around when ovusense confirms ovulation.

My temps and clearblue never match up, but my temps and the cheap opks from Amazon always do. I think clearblue sticks are a big rip off to be honest!

I might be wrong but do the clearblue kits pick up oestrogen as well? I know that cysts produce oestrogen so it could well be what’s throwing them off, but then I think that would lower your temps too.

Thanks everyone. I am starting to think that the temps are correct and the opks aren't. I keep getting flashing smiley's after the peak reading so there's obviously still LH knocking about. Frustrating as before they perfectly aligned! And yes, they read oestrogen too.
