I have pcos diagnosed nearly 2 years ago been TTC for 2 years, had previous miscarriages 3 and half years ago, I wasn't ovulating so my doctor put me on metformin which I thought was odd because I read up on them and there for diabetes but also people with pcos so I understood haha, nothing happened over 6 month so I got put on 50mg last month it failed my levels were still low, this month she upped my dose to 100mg I just got my day 21 progesterone test results and they were 124.1 which I couldn't believe! I'm so confused I know anything over 16 means ovulation but what does that reading mean could I be pregnant? Twins run in my family to, I'm due on in 7 days, I have so many symptoms, I'm tired, getting minor cramps, back ache, peeing alot more than usual, really hungry all the time but feel bloated when I eat any little thing please can someone relate or tell me success stories
Thank you ladies

High progesterone simply means high progesterone. It has confirmed you ovulated but doesn't indicate anything else (either way). You may be pregnant, you may not.

Oh and the loads of 'symptoms' is because of the high progesterone. Women who undergo ivf often get pregnancy symptoms before the embryo has been put back because progesterone is raised artificially by progesterone supplementation.

Thank you yeah maybe I'm just reading into it to much, just I know woman who had level 60 and were pregnant, just 124.1 is very high, I know your progesterone doubles when your pregnant then at 10 weeks the placenta takes over
